  • you dont actually get that many rewards points with this program

  • The best part of this summer was when I found the great method posted for free at ez-casino(dot)com... Now with the money I've bought a PS3, and I'm playing all day! LOL

  • We recycle several TONS of recyclables per year, packing & sorting alone takes us an accumulative 2-3 hours per week, which we have been doing for years, WITHOUT INCENTIVE.

Based on RecycleBank's weight volume/point reward system, we estimate having lost an average of $2,700 per year that other residential recyclers like us are being paid on.

Sadly, 'Heiberg Garbage & Recycling' says our neighborhood is already the #1 recycler in the city, and therefore needs no incentivised rewards program. :(

  • Great program! Hope it comes to Canada soon!

  • @baglady999

Still not here yet ! Damn ! Europe has it USA has it and Canada is still waiting for what ?

  • Did you know that some of the plastic dish ware has the recycle logo on it as well! More ways to make money with Recyclebank! wish you would have been here years ago!

  • Great Idea! But why wouldn't people just fill there bottles with water to increase the weight to maximize there rewards?

  • We are about to start this program in Wichita, Ks and I have high hopes that it will greatly increase the amount of recycling here, our recycling rate has been pretty poor in the past. I haul garbage for a living, check out some of my videos to see how wastefull we are.

  • Gracias por compartir este Video, desde mi punto de vista la recompensa economica es el mejor incentivo y mas aun en LatinoAmerica donde aun no se ha inculcado una conciencia ambiental.

  • They are already doing it in Vancouver.

  • Hi checkout me singing what goes around.

  • hai nice america!!!

    philippines corupt!!!

    but im from the philippines..

    hahaha

i dont care coz its true..

many of our leaders hir are corupt!!!

  • much of the mess in the philippines also come from the people who refuse to make changes, take action, and be accountable. if there was garbage on the streets-- and its been laying there for too long.. the first thing i'd ask is, 'who put it there in the first place.' not the government.

the phili government on the other hand does need to learn how to interpret the laws instead of changing it only to shut people up.

  • because we are tired!! nothing hapends even if we take actions

  • LOL this is the way it's been done in europe for like 13 years or so with the exact type of bin except that ours are green and have a red chip on them, seriously this is like 20th century technology, you guys are waaay behind

  • I would recycle that away..I never recycle cause our recycle bins are community bins about 10 miles away and theres always people swimming in them for treasure o0

  • Sign me up!

  • that chick is F-in sexy!

  • that slinky simile was the worst i ever heard.

  • THIS GUY NEEDS SOMEONE TO PUSH HIM RIGHT TO THE TOP, BRILLIANT! KEEP WITH THE MEDIA, WE'LL WELCOME IT WITH OPEN ARMS! CREATING NEW JOBS AND STAYING GREEN!

    nj-native/tx.-resident

  • Great idea! I'm in...please send money..lol. Cheers.

  • Yes, it IS a good idea! Now, how to make it work everywhere...?

P.E.I. has a province-wide waste-watch program which "demands" separation of waste, compostables and recyclables. Adherence to the "demands" is less than stellar. Paying citizens to get with the program is sad, but will definitely improve its effectiveness.

  • Yes, but people could put any kind of non recyclable garbage in that bin just to get money...

  • The staff watches the trash dumped. They press a red button on the truck. The ID of the recycle bin tells them the customer. The customer gets a letter informing them of their mistake. Etc, etc.

  • KINDA KEWL

  • This is one of the best ideas of 07 and beyond! I recycle all the time and to actualy be paid for it! WOW Im in! Do you have it in IL yet?

  • Great idea!

  • CHEAPSKATE

  • Excellent production quality and great idea being reviewed. When will we have RecycleBank in MN where I live?

  • I was wondering , what would happen if people put a few bricks in the container each day ...

The idea is great , and i hope you succeed , Anything like this in South Carolina ???

  • They would be taken off the program. Staff watches the bin dump. The RFID identifies the customer and customer is notified of problem.

  • lkjıguy

  • How is this spam?

  • yeah, wtf?

  • what about all the trees being cut down to pay the peopl... just kidding. It's overall a really good idea that has real merit.

  • COOL !!
