Well the same could said of the Germans and the Japs, considering they to have plants in the US. I would assume those Fiesta's are built in Germany because they intend to sell them there. Understand?
I wish the US models would be built by the Germans, the quality of German made fords is far above N America variants. Still however, if they ford does not wreck the image and handling of the fiesta ill buy one.
looks more modern and refined then the focus, i love it. in 2011, when im looking to buy my first new car, the fiesta will definitely be my first choice if the price is under $18,000 with automatic transmission.
i'm picking my fiesta up next week (uk) very nice looking car and so glad it's made by germans, all the older german fords outlasted there dagenham built counter parts
YEAH RIGHT, 2011, and it will be assembled in SHITTY AMERICA, i doubt american government will sit ildldy by while Cologne builds an extra 500,000 cars a year boosting German economy at the expense of Americans!
it's funny, i live about 45 min. from the factory here in Germany and I have already driven the new fiesta.... it's a very good car and has very good quality as well.
Living in the 80's are we? The Fiesta probably rides better than any current US car. lol, Europe sent the Vauxhall Vectra to America two years ago. A car which in Europe is nothing special and one which Jeremy Clarkson hates. And it went on to win North American car of the year....
You saw the all new Fiesta last night and also got to sit in it and check it all out? What was your impression of the interior? Do you think the driver's seat would be comfortable for someone who is 6'1"?
I'm 5'10 and there's definitely plenty of head room. As for 6'1", unfortunately I couldn't say in regards to leg room. I didn't check how far the driver seat went back, but it was fine for me. I was impressed with the interior, but didn't spend much time check it outwas looking more at the exterior design which is smooth & sporty
Yes, good point. Jeremy Clarkson is a big guy and did seem quite comfortable driving the new Fiesta. He wrote a very detailed review of the all new Fiesta Titanium and gave it an almost unheard of 5 stars. He absolutely loved it. He said it was one of the finest cars he's ever driven. Now that's really saying something!
LOL..Super tough lookin little babies! OMG I love the Silver...And the Black....And the green..HAHA! Hey theyre made in Germany! I am part German :) *crossing my fingers*
I couldn't help but notice that as the "agent" icons spread across the usa at the end, there was a GIRL icon approximately in the state of MINNESOTA... Could be foreshadowing... Could be ME!
i am obsessed with these cars. NEED NEED NEED! WANT WANT WANT! vrooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom. beep beep.

I believe the American Model will be built in the US.... Either us or mexico.
rudolphna54 2 years ago
Hopefully America.Providing they are not looking for cheap labor.
eyesonhead 2 years ago
Well, I think the Fusion is built in mexico.... Mexican Labor prices may be key to acheiving low cost for the fiesta, without impacting quality.

Are we getting the hatchback the first year? If I was Ford, I would have sent over 100 of the Econetic versions of the car, and 100 regulars.
