I'm pleasantly surprised to see him claim Taekwondo as his style. Most of his fights I see on youtube are San Shou, and his website has a San Shou promo. I thought maybe he was one of those people that started with Taekwondo, but gave it up. I guess maybe he takes the best of Taekwondo and combines it with San Shou. I went to school with loads of children of Vietnamese immigrants. Virtually all of them were good friends with the whites. I went to the prom with a Vietnamese girl. I suspect that Cung was not beaten up by white kids, but I could be wrong. Certainly in my Los Angeles school, such racial tensions were never a problem.
