@Lovme42 the huge difference between war in Iraq and Vietnam is that back in the 60s, there was a draft system that affected also the privileged. Now, only those who enlist themselves are sent to fight this non-sense war. So the powerful of the society do not care as much because none of their children are going to iraq as soldiers.
