  • sorry man, I think that's so far off, that it's hard to recognise that it's even supposed to be The Sky is Crying. Better than Bill and Ted I guess?

  • @mrlargemouth

I didn't understood well, my friend, by the way, thanks a lot for watching and commenting.

  • @arnoldtims

No problem, brother. I accept all critics.

Keep the Blues and play loud.

    Regards from Italy.

  • @minicar3

Thank you so much for watching and commenting.

I'm very happy if you like.

  • Nice playing dude, I love this song. For all the critics that have responded, why don't you please put a link to your "better" playing. I love to see talent get criticized and you slaggers never having to prove your talent. There were moments there where the tone just killed me. thanks for that

  • @xaxmann7520

Thanks a lot for watching and commenting. Very glad if you appreciate.

    I play 'cause a I love music.

    Critics? No problem.......nobody is perfect ! ;-)

Still thanks and regards from Italy.

  • I think your vibrato needs a little work... Good work though!

  • @todomusika

    Instead, I think that's okay.

    Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Very nice. I recently sold my Peavey Classic 50 and I regret it. It never let me down.

  • @tcstratman

Peavey Classic is an excellent amp. Why are you sold it?

Btw.....thanks a lot for watching and commenting

  • @roby62gtr I'm getting older and the Peavey was just too big and heavy since my playing out days are behind me I got a little Fender Blues Jr.

  • @tcstratman

    I agree with you!

To play in the bars I had to buy a smaller and lighter amp.

With this Peavey, I play only at home.

  • trying to hard to inmitate the blues comes from with in not copying someone but its nice

  • @irobot2009able

Thank you for watching and commenting

  • Very cool man.

  • @envisionluke

i'm very honored to have received your comment

  • you own. period.

  • @boomboxbadboy1

    sorry, but I didn't understood

but in any case, thanks for commenting

  • Can you specify the setting of the Rat? I mean, how much volume, filter and distortion are you using? Thanks!

  • Awesome playing. I don't know if it is the video or what but the highs sound a little over powering. Everything else sounds spot on. Great job.

  • @daehkcarc

thank you so much for commenting

  • That's the BEST shit I've heard, compared to Stevie Ray!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD ASS!!!!!!!!!!

You should be playing out in the open public like in clubs and things like that, seriously.

  • Thank you so much for your comment

    I'm honored

  • What guitars do you own, man? Seems like theres a new one for every video!

  • Yes :)

I got a number of guitars

Every guitar for every kind of sound.

  • ciao Roberto, you play with passion which makes it fun to watch and listen.

i'd love to hear you play this with less drive and reverb, it might allow your "own sound" and dynamics to come through better, if you know what i mean. srv himself only rarely used heavy overdrive. just an opinion.

hey, keep up the good work!

  • I like to play with a bit of reverb and in this occasion I got much drive, but in other videos you can hear that I don't use drive.

    Every video is different.

By the way, thank you very much for watching and commenting.

  • amazing playing, where the hell you get all those backing tracks?

  • thank you

    guitarbackingtrack site

  • *very nice

  • thank you very much for commenting

  • ur great :)) thanks

  • thanks to you for watching and commenting.

i'm very glad if you like.

  • Ok, condivido.

    Ciao

    Roberto

  • Gotta love the sound of a strat! I spend most of my tme on teles and forget just how good my strat can sound!

Really great performance dude! How do you find the classic 50 for clean? I have the classic 20 and it's a bit nasal sounding... who knows why!

  • Teles are great guitars !

I think a real rock blues guitar player, must play with both guitars: strato & tele.

I think the Classic 50 is a very good amplifier.

  • So did you work this out by yourself, or at some point read it from a tab? Or sheet music?

Would love to play like you do.. But I know its probably taken years to develop the technicians that you have here.

so could you TAB this song or write it out for people why are aspiring to learn this piece?

  • I'm a totally self taught guitar player and I never played a guitar solo following some tabs.

Simply, I play guitar since I was a child and I heard much, much music, principally rock 60's & 70's and Blues.

Sorry, but I got no the tabs of this song and I'm not able to write them.

Thanks very much for watching and commenting and if you got any other questions, write me without problems, ok?

    Regards and thanks

    Roberto

  • good sound my man

  • Thanks very much for your comment

  • great sound at 1:52, after that it feels very soulful and sincere. awesome cover, man

  • Thanks a lot !

I'm very proud and honored to have received your nice comment.

  • you have a big sound. very nice

  • Thaaaanks !!!!!

Very happy if you like this video.

  • Incredible man, just incredible.

About the Lace Sensor pickups, I was thinking about putting some on my Tele, my only questions are how do slightly heavier, more distorted sounds work with them, and how the hum is? I know jonny greenwood uses them, and I adore his playing, but just wanna get a second opinion.

  • In truth, I don't know if Lace Sensor pick-ups are right for the Telecaster.

The Lace Sensor sound is more heavier than the normal fender pick-ups. Is an excellent sound but, I repeat, I never saw or hear a Telecaster with the Lace Sensor pick-ups.

By the way, thanks a lot for your comment.

  • Great! Congratulations! This an enormous song, and not easy to play.

  • Thanks very much.

Very glad inf you like it.

  • Really well done! Sounds great.

  • Thanks a lot for watching and commenting.

  • Sorry, but I play well with my 010 strings set.

I think my Peavey classic 50 is a good ampli, for playing blues and rock with my band.

Thanks very much for your comment.

  • Great playing. Nice combination of Stevie Ray and your own style.

  • Thanks very much !

I have appreciated very much your comment.

  • Your feeling is so good . My arm is like chicken skin . :o) great player you are

  • Thanks very much for your nice comment.

Play, play and play your guitar and you'll begin a good musician.

  • Grazieeee!!!!!!!

Noto che questo video è piaciuto parecchio. Ne sono felice.

    Ciao !

  • Your incredible. At what age did you start?

  • Thanks so much !!!!

I started playing at age of 13.

  • Awesome playing, sir!

I noticed your pinky curls up like mine when you play, even more awesome. :D

  • Thanks a lot for your kind comment.

Very glad if you like it.

  • cool men , check out my bluesy video .. see you!

  • thanks very much, friend.

    i'll check your video, surely!!!

    Blues on !

  • Great playin', Roberto,

    *****

    Kurt...

  • Thaaaanks, Kurt !!!!!

    You're very kind.

    Roberto

  • now this i like.....but slow ur vibrato down...i never seen anyone vibrate so much...lol

  • I like my vibrato

    thanks for your comment

  • to much this vibrato not very bluesy

  • Sorry, I don't know if I'm a good guitar player

but you don't know the Blues

and this is very strange. Dutch people are excellent good music connoisseurs.

    p.s. : post some videos

I could learn something from you.

By the way, thanks very much for watching and commenting.

  • this is awesome

  • Thanks a lot.

  • Outstanding work, you have put in a few hours learning this Hope that I can some day play that well.

  • Thank you very much for this nice comment.

I suggest you to play guitar for much time and to hear much music and one day you'll be a good guitar player.

  • I think this is what blues is all about.. it's not the fact that you should play everything note perfect to the original, it's the freedom of self expression.. Great work man.. :)

  • Thanks very much for your comment.

    Glad if you like it.

    A me......me piace!!!!!!! :-)

    a presto

  • Grazieeee!!!!!!

    Cia e grazie ancora

    Roberto

  • it´s like porno.A devil with a guitar on his hands!!!!

  • Thanks very much for your comment.

  • please show me how you got that tone..

  • This guitar is a handmade Stratocaster. I use only the neck pick up, a Fender Lace Sensor. I play with a Peavey Classic 50 I don't mind the amp setting for this song, but usually I set this tones: Treble: 10/12 Meddle: 7/12 Bass: 11/12 Presence: 8/12 Reverb: 4-5/12 Post amp: 11/12 Pre amp: 11/12 I think I used, less or more, this setting. For boost my sound I used, I think, the Proc Turbo Rat (some times I play also with the Boss Blues Driver II) Ciao Roberto
  • nice man! haha i got to practice more

  • Thanks very much.

Make some practice, play loud your guitar and you'll begin a very good guitar player.

    Ciao from Italy

    Roberto

    Roby (from Italy)

  • I want to perform together.

    Is not impossible.

The world of Internet offers some possibilities, do you?

  • It listens from my friend. The work performed together should be able to be made.

  • Hey wow really great playing!!!

  • Thanks very muuuuuuuch!!!!!! :-D

  • Sounds great. What strat is that? American Standard?

Are there good sites for learning blues that you can recommend?

    Thanks!

  • Thanks very much.

This is an assembled guitar, not a real Fender, but I charged a Fender Lace Sensor pick-up on the neck. I think it sounds very good.

  • sweet!

  • thanks a lot!

  • nice!..a little shakey in the begining, but soon found the groove. Tasty classic licks, combined with good tone...???...priceless! Very cool!

  • Damn, everyone's reading tonight so the house is quiet and you making me want to go grab my guitar. Good workout!! What kind of amp? 5 stars

  • Wooooow!!!! Thanks very much.

I play with a Peavey classic 50, obviously a valves amp with two 12 inch speakers.

I saw on a DVD that it used also by Eric Clapton. It's a very great amp.

Only one thing: When I must go out to play ... .... . it's very heavy! :(
