I remember few yrs back $1 was over 9,000 cedis and to dream about buying land there , but now $1 is only 1.64 cedis. I wish had at least bought some cedis back then to make that dream a reality.

I am from charleston s.c. one of the main stop off where slaves were brought to america,when i visit i often go to the very place where we 1st set our feet in this country and I stare at the Atlantic ocean, I love it because its an ocean and i hate it cause it was compliant in bringing me from a place of freedom to a place of bondage .always I can see and hear the sound of the shackles of the slaves as they leave the ships and the sound of the suffering of innocent human beings who feel like me

@1DestinyGodley I moved her approximately 1 month ago. It's been great. I came to Accra at first then I drove 4 1/2 hrs to Kumasi which is the Asante kingdom. I'm making several adjustments. My focus is on learning the Twi language and becoming a part of the culture. I don't plan on ever returning to the United States for any other reason other than to visit.

I would like our people around the world, to come home and reclaim their roots.

Ghana has a lot in rsources and also wealth.

I don't buy that crap that we are all poor.

you got the atmosphere just right then!. i have visited JONES BEACH and i remember the perfect sands and hot day i could have been in BAR BEACH in LAGOS the only difference was that there were no church members praying by the sand dunes and it was so peaceful and quiet..
