this is a wicked song and they are both amazingly talented, but why oh WHY do americans feel the need to clap whenever the war is mentioned? Clapping and cheering is meant to sound a celebration and we shouldn't be celebrating the fact that thousands of innocent lives have been, and still are being, lost.

Great song none the less.

@KatStanners I don't think it's "celebrating" the war, but paying respect to her brother for willing to give his life and serve two tours in Iraq. I live in Texas close to Ft. Hood, and whenever a soldier is recognized for serving, about to deploy, or is just returning, they are always received by a round of applause or thank yous. It's more deep gratitude to the soldiers, not "celebrating" the war. Though it's not a celebratory thought, I feel that it definitely deserves recognition.

i was looking up videos of camp lejeune north carolina, because i'm now a teenager, but when i was like 4-9 years old i lived there.. i've lived many places since, but camp lejeune is my home.. and now the closest i can feel to it is watching youtube videos, which depresses me.. but when i saw this video, i had to cry. one tree hill changed my life, and it is my one true obsession haha. it's amazing my one favorite place in this universe, and one tree hill came together...

I love this song, and the meaning behind it.
