Walid Khalidi has it so wrong on so many levels, it's hard to know where to begin. Kings David and Solomon ARE considered prophets, not mere monarchs. Abraham was a Muslim? He even implies that the Temple Mount was never the site of the Jewish temple. Bottom line? Islam's sovereignty began via conquest.
