I'm just speaking from experience with cats---he seems to be quite annoyed with you.

I had him for 17 yrs and 8 months, I KNOW when he felt content his voice became hoarse. When he was annoyed, his voice turned to a high-pitched grunt. He passed away July 4 2009, I still miss his hoarse content voice.
