I thought I was a big fan before I saw them live, and when I went, we were crammed into this tiny club that couldn't really hold as many people as it was holding, and it was HOT AS HECK and we were all sweating and there was this weird chick grinding against me all during the opener and I was getting furious that I had even bothered because I was miserable... and then Blue October comes out, and his voice, their music, their presence...nothig else mattered.
It was just like, they came on stage and all that went away. I. Was. In. Heaven. lol. I didn't even care anymore about any of that crap. The music just totally consumed me. *grin* They have that power over their crowds. It's remarkable.
