Not hard.. On guitar it's much more of a challenge, but there's no bass part so you could easily use two hands making this quite simple.

If you had average experience in each then it'd be easier on piano.

I'm better at guitar than I am at guitar hero. But if someone has no experience with either then they're going to be able to play guitar hero long before guitar.

the original is very basic but because van halen kind of made finger tapping famous in a way it was sort of new and intriguing. i know he probably didnt invent it but i think he brought it to popular culture. thats why hes famous in my opinion.
