The Dreamers I just found boring. Dancer In the Dark is depressing Badlands is the only Malick film I really liked. I liked The New World.
are you aware that lots of ads for movies used to only show still photos, and sometimes not even that if the movie was so bad? if the movie was really some lousy horror movie some actor would be shown talking how the clips would be too scary to show.

im 39 and just seen this movie a year ago on sundance channel and ever since it crosses my mind a couple times a day ..weird ..but i liked twilight also ..i think its cool they turned a whole generation on to such a good movie.....

Twilight fans give teenagers a bad name. This is a classic, and it has as much to do with Twilight as it has to do with Rob Zombie's Halloween (thank gawd). This is a provocative, thought-provoking and steamily creative movie which is one of the best of its kind. STOP MENTIONING TWILIGHT! I'd prefer if that were on all boards, not only the Last Tango In Paris Board, but I can't ask anything.

@schizophrantic alright. I understand that Stephanie Myer changed up the original make up of vampires, and the whole sparkling thing is asinine. But I would never say that it is an offense to arts or literature. Bram Stoker invented the vampire. After him another great known vampire author was Anne Rice and the Vampire Chronicles. She changed the idea of Dracula into her own perspective, as did Myer. Literature and art is not defined as loved by all or pleasing to most. Im 16 and know better.

I didn't find last tango in Paris to be romantic, but it was moving. It's very acurate in portraying what can happen when a man and women have such strong attractions to one another. However I did find this movie to be very shallow and too hyped up for a shallow sex story
