Duratec 30. Not bad. Same as in my Mazda. Not sure if you have the same terrible headers as we do, but if so, take them off asap and upgrade. The precats fail and blow the motor. Its otherwise a stout motor.
Stay away from these cars 2006-2010 - they are prone to rusting early and the 6 speed automatic transmissions are faulty and start to give out around 50 - 60 thousand miles. I have one still under warranty and Ford won't cover it because they said the tranny problem is due to rusting transmission cooler lines. Nice cop out. The rust isn't right through the metal so they won't cover it. Common places for rust are above the passenger windshield and rear left licence plate area.
so theres no mufflers on this car??? it wont harm and of the manifolds or heads??? I have super 44's on my car but your sounds way meaner and less ricey!!! i love it!!!
Nope, and no muffler and no resonator, just both the cats and pipe all the way back. and yeah, its really deep. sounds like a G35 from what i heard or somthing haha
same pipe just muffler removed and replaced with pipe then stainless steel 3 inch tips were added. And the resonator was removed and replaced with a pipe as well. All the pipeing is the same diameter as the rest of the exhaust pipe. Total cost was $312 and took about 45 minutes.

I personally love magnalfow and have put them on all the cars ive had and have never been disapointed. If u had to pick, i would go for magnaflow hands down.

@dvmarko74 Straight Pipe it or Magnaflow has a great kit for the 3.0L. Check out the Mazda6 forums. We use the same motor in the 3.0L.
