This child is Japanese. This is a different culture. The original dance has the same movements. Western people are very sensative to children moving those ways, but only if YOU see it as inappropriate is it.

She is truly superb. My only recommendation is that she learn to show facial expressions during her dance. That will become more important in relating to an audience as she grows up.

That's what I've been telling her in comments on many of her videos. Her dancing is perfect and now she is perfecting her singing skills too. The only thing missing is more smile. But I can see she is improving on that too which is commendable.

Asian girls can get fat too you know, they're "built" like any other race :\ I would say that she's thin because her parents don't overfeed her, and she's a child so she can't go buy her own junk food like teenagers/young adults would do.

Like any other race? And since when are all races alike? The fact is that in general and as a whole, certain races have certain traits. Asians happen to be more "petite" than some. What LittleStrawberryStar said wasn't wrong, since they did specify that "in general" they are quite thin. No one is saying that asians can't get fat... Yes, there may be a thin line between a generalization and a stereotype, but I don't think it was crossed in this case...

i saw a TV show about that topic. 1. japanese tend to have a more healthier alimentation than europeans or americans. and 2nd they also let 'races' ate the same stuff and firstly, the japanese could not even eat the whole food in such a huge amount like the europeans and americans. and it was stated that they seem to have a faster metabolism or something. uw.

and for the record. i went to japan last year, and yes, i also saw 'fat' japanese, but they were really only a few.
