where all korean fans could communicate and share their favorite korean song, food, games etc anything they like about korea :) please join me

  • hi thank you your videos are very helpful

i'm following you step by step

today i went to my favorite korean song by tvxq -mirotic

and i tried to follow them it's very hard

i wanted to ask you that if u can teach us the korean consciences like I , YOU, they etc :)

  • I know this came too late but I just want to say thank you for the great videos.

    감사함니다

ps: I learn writing those words just by watching your video lessons =)

  • Aish this is so difficult! T.T I hope that i am able to remember it ><

  • OMG I hope to don't forget it!!

  • fyi: busyatom.com isn't working right now

thank you so much though, this is honestly better than rosetta stone :)

  • @tokee1234567 i mean, can i just write it like this 감사합니다 instead of 갭사합니다

  • @wickweak 갭사합니다 is not a Korean word..... it's 감사합니다.

  • thanks alot you are so great teacher

  • if i write 감사합니다 in this way...it also can be accepted? or i must write gapsahamida(cant type it in hangul) instead of gamsahamida?

sry dun know how to explain well

  • @wickweak to Koreans you shouldn't really write romanizations. romanizations (english way of writing Korean) was just made for English speakers, and Koreans never use or write them unless for fun

  • thanks alot! you're a great teacher. 감사합니다! :D

  • could you please mention the other types of nasalization, as the website is not available at the moment. Thank you.

  • Your teaching is so clear!!!!!!!!!!! kamsahamnida~~ ^^

  • @Maisie62009 What i meant was to check to box that says microsoft IME. You know the check symbol?? So when you find the language you want, expand it then click keyboard and there should me microsoft IME then check the box that is right next to it. Hope this helped

  • @Maisie62009 what OS are u using vista, win7 or (leopard)apple?? all of this os had the keyboard installed since the day u bought.. just go to control panel for window user or go to system preferences if u use MAC

  • 무어라고 감사해야 할지 모르겠습니다 스승님!!

    여러가지로 감사합니다!! ^__^

  • I bet it's a lot harder for korean (or any other eastern asian language) people to learn english than to people whose native language is spanish (or any other western european language), as me. So woah! You must have had a hard time there!

  • Click Start

    Click Control Panel

    Click Clock, Language, and Region

Click Change keyboards or other input methods under Keyboards and Languages tab

    Click Change keyboards... then Add...

Find: Korean (Korea) and expand it then expand Keyboards and check Microsoft IME.

  • @kawaiipanda475 hello, i already did the steps that you posted, but it does not appear. T.T

  • can someone please tell me how to write hangul in my computer???

    pls someone tell me...

    thank you

  • can someone please tell me how i can get my computer to write in hungul korean??

i really want to start practicing with my computer :)... thank you

  • what if the word has an -NG sounds? just like solt'ang??? how do you pronounce it?

  • hi! thank you for this lesson.... i was wondering since 흙 sounds like 흑 ... how does 읽다, 읽기 sound? 익타 and 일끼? thank you!!

  • Actually for ㄹㄱ it depends on person. For example many people will say 흙 (syllable alone) as 흘+ㄱ or just 흑. But in the case of 읽다 I think 일ㄱ따 is the most popular way not 익타 at all. 읽기 will definitely sound like 일끼.

  • Thank you so much! I'm starting to learn korean, and it was driving me nuts not understanding why the 감사합니다 was 'ham' sound.

    감사합니다 !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great vid!

  • I have been watching these videos for a little over a week now, and I thought I would take this opportunity to thank you so much for posting them!! Its a great way to learn, and you make it so easy! Thank you, thank you!!

  • Thank YOU for watching^__^.

    감사합니다.

  • and 같이 means "together" right? I wacht a lot korean shows=)

  • That's right!

같이 also has a completely different but widely used second meaning which is 'like' or 'as'.

    감사합니다.

  • When the rules make you spell the word differently, do the two words become different meanings?

  • kamsamida!!^^

  • what is ka sa hum me da?

  • thank you

  • oh ok well then ka sa hum me da(:

  • Comment removed

  • woa, these videos are really helpful, thank you so much!!

  • what do u mean song-gon-di?

  • 낳다, 닿소리, and so on. It is rare but they are there. In our main busyatomdotcom site you will see a whole consonants pronunciation chart under 'Korean Phrases'.

    감사합니다.

  • When does hieut have sound of "t"?

  • I started Your lessons yesterday, And it's very easy to understand your explanations! (even the nasal sounds etc.. perhaps because I'm french and in french language there is this KIND OF nasal pronounciation ) But it's easy to understand

Thank for all those lessons~~ It's very interesting! Even if the lesson are in english ( I'm not a great english speaker )

  • Oh, thank you so much. Whenever you have questions please let me know. I am not a great English speaker either^__^)

    감사합니다.

  • interesting but kinda complicated and confusing. i guess i need more patients and more practice before i master the korean language..

  • It is actually very confusing part in Korean learning. (I used to hate these rules especially when we were tested about them in school. And I have to admit that part of the confusion might come from my presentation. I hope someday I can deliver these rules in crystal clear way. But in order to do so I need to study harder. Thank you for your comment ^__^

    감사합니다.

  • whew now it becomes complicated... i guess thats why i hardly understand korean movies even thoug i try to watch many of them...

  • busyatom im just confused what is the meaning of nose sound????

    thanks

  • Well I guess it should be "nasal sound", which is the sound that will be difficult to pronounce with your nose blocked. Try "n", "m", or "ng" as in "noon" or "moon" with your nosed completely blocked. Do you feel sort of resistance in your nose? If so, that's because they are "nasal sounds".

    감사합니다.

  • ok thanks ^_^

  • Good video, thank you.

I have just begun learning and am exploring the language a little bit.

I'll be sure to watch your other videos also.

  • 'Nose sounds' is weird...usually we say 'nasal sounds' in linguistics.

  • 고마워요

  • 레이님, 감사합니다.
