The sequel of the Don Cherry Story, Keep your head up Kid.. is being filmed presently and the arenas used will be the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, and also the PCU Centre in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba.. and maybe the Selkirk Arena also.. I know cause I am in the movie. We also filmed an upcoming Hollywood movie, called Goon.. with Sean William Scott (American Pie), and Liev Schrieber (X-Men), and Eugene Levy.. at the same arenas last Fall.

The CBC put so much effort into making this movie. The players are using modern era skates with Tuuk holders in some shots. Typical gay CBC crap.

@vancouverbman HaHa! For the record I'm not all against the CBC. There's some good things about it., but I think this movie was really bad and a very poor effort. Look at the movie about The Runaways. Just from the previews you can see that the producers are doing everything they can get everything authentic and correct.

You should lay off bashing soccer though because Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys might come after ya. He played for the national team.
