Passion is a crucial part of great music - it's as simple as that. This music is nothing if not passionate. However, it doesn't convince me that there's a god. What was he doing while 6 million of my people were being killed? He works in mysterious ways? Okay, that's all I need to hear. Thanks, but no thanks.
So its all about you? Life is bigger than 6million people, don't get me wrong I share your compassion just don't stop learning searching . Its not about the cliche " mysterious ways".

My beliefs: yeah, they're all about me. I don't need to respect the bible (that has details on the correct ways to treat your slaves, to stone adulterers, on countless examples of merciless, ruthless killing of enemies) to know what's right and what's wrong. The punishments are not too different from those used in Saudi Arabia and Iran and what the Taliban favor. Religion is coerced/brainwashed into children and then kept alive by guilt and fear.
Jamarl23 - The "Pink shirt" looks kinda big. He could be out doing something else...like armed robbery, or gang-bangin', maybe at your house takin your stuff while beatin you upside your head...maybe he could have been in jail by now..but no, he is chosing to Praise God in church on a choir stand! And on YouTube! Yes, they do sound great, but why throw the hate in there...just rejoice in the fact that somebody is praising God with you. The choir is on point!!! Praise God.

I love the song. It's a great arrangement, the band are so in the groove, the choir are wonderful and sing it with amazing passion.

When I hear and see this song, and many others by Hezekiah Walker, it reminds me why I like a lot of Soul Music, R&B and Funk. This music contains all of that, and Gospel seems to have been the root of all of it.

Yall sound good!!! but one thing i do have to comment on is the band...this is typical of any good band that plays with a choir...yall play a lil too loud...you gotta hear those parts because yall playin so loud i couldn't hear the altos...but yall good tho...next time just watch the volume...
That's why people are not saved now. These young people are praising God and That's enough. I am a music major and about to get a masters in music tech and they are good. You guys need to learn to build on the positive and listen to the message of the song. If God is pleased, you should be too

It's okay. At least the young people were in church praising God. Most of them don't appear to be University aged youth. Maybe when they are older,they will be able to join a University Choir and continue to contribute to reaching souls for Christ.

yeah...we only practiced dat song one time before we performed it. Check it out the one entitled "VSU Mass CHoir". It's the best one as far as sound.
