@MrAladdin1991 I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but Every Little Step is about the process of casting the '06 revival, plus some insight into the making of the original. The original Val was Pamela Blair, the character being dually based off of her and Mitzi Hamilton's experiences. And Jessica Lee Goldyn originated the part in the revival cast. Hope that helps somewhat. :)

@howluver - I thought that was interesting too. I saw the movie, and the other girls who were auditioning felt more right. But watching this, I realize why they made their choice. Val really is supposed to be this innocent-looking girl who is vivaciously naughty and free. The other girls played her very sarcastic and a little too cynical.

The character of Val really has no problem changing her looks. Both her gift, and her fault.
