the goverment will only let you make enough stuff so they can fine you with huge ridiculous fdines that no one ever challenges , be glad poor children cant afford ivey league schools what would the world be like with more educated idiots the beast we are facing is our polititions and laws
America deserves all it gets for the years of destruction it has done to countries like Veitnam which thanks to americans now farmers are hooked on heroin! and im sure Iraq an Bosnia are the same cos of the great america.
For the inocent people who live there sorry but for the government eat shit!! ahaha
This is just like putting out fire by tossing haystacks right onto it. For a moment, it may seem like you've solved the problem, but then it burst into a much greater inferno before you know it.
Now what? More haystacks! or better yet gasoline!
What's that? water??halon?? NO! The only way to put out the fire is dragging your cheeseburger-fat-ass over that fire and yes you may actually have to get burned to end this haystack (think paper$) legacy once and for all.
I'd like to know how we are going to save jobs by giving money to the auto companies. If auto sales are down close to 50% from normal, you are either going to have to cut production by 50% and get rid of those workers - bailout or not, or you are going to make millions of cars that nobody wants, or you are going to pay people not to work (welfare). Those are your choices, so you decide.
Exactly. It would be like paying people to manufacture typewriters. While the jobs might be there at least temporarily, the fact is no one really wants a typewriter and our resources are being spent on stuff that has NO value.
Jim Ellis says, "As bad as we ran into trouble with people borrowing a lot and spending, we have to get to spending again." and then adds, "But that's a bubble to come."
So let's make the problem worse so when it implodes it really implodes.
It's barely audible but at 4:01 you can hear Peters gag reflex kick in.
"We need to get people spending again."
Not sure how that is going to lead to higher savings, investment and actual production (not in China) but I guess that's why he is on TV and I am just blogging.
there is plenty. but man has not really evolved. there is no need for money. everyone could have enough to eat and a nice place to sleep and warm clothes. but we are all struggling against each other. success means the other person fails. we hoard things. take more than we need. yes it's pie in the sky idealism. but crawling out of the primordial stew and walking upright was a quantum leap for humans. so ...who knows...maybe someday
success does NOT mean other other people fail. The only person that fails is competition, and even then it doesn't always happen if the consumer is satisfied. Life is not a zero sum game. All parties can benefit. As for money, no it's not "needed" but it's very convenient because it provides the power of choice. Without it you'd have the trade something somebody wants...but with money the money holds value because they know they can always exchange it.
