It's some supreme misfortune that all of the spells and arrows charged on you got in a lot more than they were supposed to. 5% arrows can miss a lot, but a 20% confusion and that's the one that hits and gets you killed.

@onionknight777 I have, the default is Aeris, but that is a mistranslation. In every FF7 game or movie since, it's always Aerith.

@ExaltedHamster Mistranslation or no, mayhap I was too young back then to realise, I still call her Aeris to this very day, and so do many other FF fans. (I think the differental factor is that the folks who call her Aerith, usually have played and enjoyed the movie and other games in the FFVII series.)

Good luck at trying to beat Limberry below 69. In case you do level up to that, all you do is stand 3 spaces behind the left torch, you wait, enemies get their turns, you shoot and wait, get another free turn, shoot and walk as far left as you can, Elmdor attacks, the Virgo Assassin charges Ultima on you, you shoot Elmdor and stand in his face. He will not be dead with your compat, you can only hope something different happens since you take less damage.

@cocomunga If you can only survive the same amount as I could, you probably will need two crits. Another option which might have a better chance of Success (not much), is use the Lightning Bow. If it Procs Bolt 2 3 Times, I think you will win. Chance of crit 5%. Chance of Bolt 2 20%. You'd need two really good crits, or just 3 Bolt 2s which might cut it down to two if you crit and Bolt 2.... This fight is going to suck, unless you pull off some amazing never-before-seen way to win.

@cocomunga I forgot that using the Lightning Bow requires you to dodge a throw with only 10% Evasion.

@Archael7 Nope. I only beat it with Pisces. A 108 gems Lightning Bow Bolt 2 is the strongest thing you can do. Speaking of not trying it, it will be a little embarrassing for me if it turns out really easy.

@cocomunga I think it is pretty likely (not easy though, but doable), but you need to be lvl 64 for an extra PA point (extra speed point screws up the whole thing, you'll see what I mean), then roll an assassin with extra MA (13, or 14 if she brings +2 gloves) and you can get him, just a matter of resets. BTW the SSCC Archer writeup for Elmdor on GF is bullshit. Elmdor doesn't behave like the text describes using the DeathSentence strat
