the original is 10 time harder than the remake i played them both TR1 psx well i never beat's it even today and TR remake ps2 i did beat's it but not 100%

I managed to get through this level without killing any of the enemies: the wolves tend to slow me down in the pool areas though.

Yeah that one was tough. Make sure Lara's left foot is embedded in the small step, then the small turn before the jump is where you need to do some trial and error with the angle that Lara faces toward the wall.

I have been a hardcore Tomb Raider fan since I was 4 years old, I couldn't stop playing it. And I find TR 1 a LOT more harder than Tomb Raider Anniversary(the remake of this one).

Core Design's Game > Crystal Dynamics Game. As epic as the remake was - it's still not as jizz-in-pants inducing as the original, regardless of the graphical quality.

That is very impressive. Brings back many happy memories - the original was way more difficult and engrossing than the anniversary remake and the sound was better. Well done mate.

Agreed! Everything you say is true - I loved the higher difficulty of the older games - a much better challenge than the newer titles, which are far too easy if you ask me.

But really the biggest thing I think that's missing is the music - nothing matches up to the atmosphere that the music of the original games creates. It really makes you believe you're all alone in an abandoned tomb, with only your self and your wits to keep you alive. Love it.
