This was my first Lowrider truck, i rebuilt the motor put a weber carb. and a turbo out of an 89 mazda mx6 im sure the truck had more than 85 horsepower i was running 2 1/2 pipe all the way to the rear with a tusudo muffler all MSD wires and NGK Plugs an MSD 6AL Box , this was an easy motor to rebuild and work on , my buddy had an 93 Built honda civic and we race all the time i smoked that honda all the time and it was pretty quick , that was a fun burn out check out my page got a better truck
i've got an B2200 efi that makes 93hp, hahaha. that means my 0-60 is only 12 min 47 sec, while yours is 14 min 12 sec. (jks, but these tricks need more power)
ha the b2600i is a strong engine but not short enough of a stroke for me ilove mazda trucks had one a while back in 98 dropped and tricked i=out the engine but next one will need a engine swap like a small block or maybe a rotory we will seee great trucks they loook the best dropped !
my freind had the same truck best small truck ever THEY DONT DIE!!! they just fail e-tests thats all it made it to 450000kms untill it wouldnt pass the e test anymore it it wasent for the e-tests it probably would of made it to 500000 + kms
He could've had the engine rebuilt, with a good cat and a well tuned engine these trucks pass all the emissions tests. The stock carburetor is a real bitch though.
Loved mine only replaced the engine twice and transmission 5 times from street racing-3
