  • do you do weight training as well?? or have done?? or is all that muscle form calithenics?

  • I do almost exclusively bodyweight training now, but I did do a lot of weights throughout the years.

  • @kalosthenos im 15 years old and have been working out for about 5 months. what do you recommend me doing for me to increase my strength in the quickest but best way? I wanna gain insane upper body strength? weights or body weight?

  • @kalosthenos

I just have to ask you..I've read that calisthenics are very hard for tall guys..I'm 1,92 m tall...can I even get close to that strength? ( My weight is 85 kg )

  • @Rastamafiazo there is lots of tall guys doing amazing calisthenics. To make the most improvement your focus has to be mostly calisthenics. Bodybuilding with weights doesn't incorporate the balance, coordination, flexibility and muscle synergy that calisthenics does, simply put bodybuilding builds muscle not balance. Unless your doing olympic lifts. regardless of what you choose to do they all take major dedication. check out our dvd at barology101 website and see if it is of interest to you. Tx

  • damn beast

  • hardcore man, awesome just awesome!!

  • Comment removed

  • dude, please tell me, how do you perform the muscle up, please tell me. .lol I've been training for those for weeks and I still can get it right

  • first do negative musclups-Get to the top of the bar and lower yourself as slow and controlled as possible. This will strengthen the right muscles. Then practice clapping pullups. Now when you are recovered to 100% strength hang on the bar with the elbows at a 120 degree angle. Swing 3 times back and forth. On the third count try to get your chest over the bar and then finish with the dip to rise all the way up. It won't be pretty but that will come with time. Peace!

  • who sings tha song???

  • Kokane-also check out Above the Law

  • that was sick

most people cant even try to do that

    nice

  • thanks a lot

  • hahahaha

    up and coming..i love it!!!

keep going...soon there should be a team of calisthenics all over the world...

we join once a year to compete..prize money should be very high!!!

imma go do me a video now..

    peace!!!

  • thanks Vaughn, I think it's definately heading in that direction. I'll be looking foward to seeing your video. Peace!

  • well its training time! especially now people are also improving their hands skills, you definitely can not leave that out as well....

lets just hope that when it does happen that we have some legit or fair coaches and some proper rules...HINT HINT, NO SWINGING AND TOES MUST STAY TOGETHER..LOL..continue training

  • true, swinging is so much damn fun though. kipping also works the abs big time, making the muscle up a pullup, dip, and a knee raise, even working the hip flexors. I did two muscleups with a 35 db b/t my feet, making it a total body exercise. didn't get it on video, but i will. this shit is just straight up fun! I agree though, stricter muscleups is a credit to even better upperbody strength. ZEF, JAZ

  • damn... nice.. keep up that stuff

  • thanks man! nice youtube page you got there! i'm subscribing!

  • One of my faves when it comes to sayings. Therefore the mere title deserves 5 stars not to speak of the action, which truly speaks louder than words.
