  • and yet Zemeckis abandoned these types of effects for Motion Capture movies

  • Thank you.

  • I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. SCENE MAYBE ON THE NEW RELEASE ON DVD?!

  • hope you enjoyed my visual effects videos

    Zach,

  • I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT SCENE WITH MLK JR.! HOPE THEY HAVE THAT ON DVD

  • I AM GLAD THIS WON FOR AN OSCAR!

  • Cool to see never before seen scenes.

  • The effects are amazing, even today.

  • "They just dogs, they don't know any better..."

  • dont remember this in forrest

  • When I first saw Lt. Dan being lifted from his bed without legs I was like, "Whoa!" We've seen special effects in outer space so much it's almost cliche. But because this was a more realistic setting, I found this to be much more incredible. I used to joke about Senise - wow, that's dedication - having his legs cut off for a movie!

  • The visual effects in FG are so cool, their not like day after tommrow or anything like that, they dont look obvious lol

  • The more subtle type of visual effects are interesting.

The shot will make you go, huh?

But you won't think of it as a visual effect.

  • The part with Dr. King made me laugh

  • one of my favorite seens is when forrest asks whats happening at the school, and the guy standing there says "coons tryin to get into school!" and forrest says, "racoons try to get in m y house at nig

  • ht, momma just chases em off with a broom."

  • i can see why they cut out the king sequence... its kinda dumb

  • no it isnt.

  • too bad they had to cut the LK scene, was bare funny :)

  • the vissual effects are so cool i didnt even notice in the movie when i saw it

  • the kkk

  • This movie brings a tear to my eye.

  • @stevespielberg It bring me a bucket of water ...

  • @stevespielberg this is the prettiest movie i've ever seen in my life..

  • awesome movie, its cool to see the behind the scenes to this, even though the movie is over 10 years, but the movie is timeless.

  • what is the name of the song that is used in the Kukuxklan scene? (the piano theme)

  • Ride of the Valkyries, by Wagner

  • Thank you so much for these! I never knew the Ku Klux Klan bit was from D.W. Griffith's The Birth of the Nations! And the deleted footages...I never saw them until today, and I am a huge fan of this movie. Thank you once again.

  • Great work, no?

    Thanks for posting!!! :D
