  • NS railroad has some huge powerful engines

  • at 328 why was the road close was it for high water?

  • wasn't GT 4297 purchased from UP?

  • I wish I lived in Gary:(

  • Where do you sit at to watch the trains? Street?

  • Gary is a busy place to watch trains. I love all the Amtraks going in and out of Chicago. Is those two tracks the same tracks that goes through Hammond where that woman ran the railroad crossing to beat a train and got hit by another train coming in the opposite direction?

  • GT 4927 has a P5

  • real nice work

  • what kind of horn is on the 4927?

  • Great vid! Lots of nice power too!

  • hey nice video

I think the IC Switchers Are SW14's not SW1200's

    not trying to be mean

  • @RailsandRoads they do look like 14's

  • @Amtrak1194 i think they r

  • good

  • That is a great video! For some very strange reason by way of atmospheric long distance skip,I can pick up the NS Chicago line on 160.260.I`m down here about 30 miles north of Peoria and i can hear detectors at 474 or 476,two way conversations, and EJ&E and CF&E maintainers. The biggest mystery is that 160.260 isn`t even the right channel!I don`t get this one!

  • Amtrak Pere Marquette Train, I hate that train. Remember? :D

  • Why because you were late or it smashed into the back of an intermodal?

  • Yes, fuckin texas eagle. D:<

  • Amazing video!

  • Frekin sweet GEVO!!!!

  • that must be a good spot to catch alot of fast moving trains ?????????????

  • WOW! that makes for a full day.....

  • Great job got some nice catches, love the sw1200;s and thatGT had a badass P5 by the osunds of it

  • that lead CP unit was a ES44

  • cool grande trunk !

  • where is pine jct act exactly boxcar?

  • Gary, IN. South of the USS Steel Mill.

  • nice vid, those aren't SW1200's though, they are ICG rebuilds from the 1970's. They were rebuilt from SW7's and SW9's, both of which are virtually identicle externally to SW1200's, but the big giveaway is the cab roof, look at how square it is.

  • great videos

  • Those IC SW1200s are amazing. I wish I could see those in person again.

  • great video!!!

  • 7:00, holy shit. haha.
