  • Your video ROCKS!!!

    Thanks for sharing. :-D

  • @MsGabbyGirlChicago You ROCK too just for watching!!!

  • Thank for showing this..

  • @wzmicro :) so welcome!

  • Thank you for showing this! I have aloe all over my yard and don't touch it! Now I will utilize it to the fullest thanks to yours and other vids. Also you have fantastic taste in music!! I am ashamed to ask; what great classical artist is this?

  • @2emeraldeyes YeeHaaa! You have a massive untouched medicine cabinet - lucky you!

The music is by ANTONIO VIVALDI ~ the first part of SUMMER from the four seasons

  • can i put the sap with water directly in a shaker?

  • @CheeseXEmo I totally believe in the right to create. You may just discover something that works for you. Both aloe and good quality water are completely non toxic so there is no harm in trying new ways. Please let me know how it goes!

The sap is highly medicinal and I only take medicine when my body needs it hence I allow the sap to seep out and drink the infused water as a daily tonic for re-hydration etc. If you are treating something specific then use the whole leaf with the sap. Have fun!

thanks for sharing. is the proportions matter? how about bitterness? i would love to make it, but not sure can overcome bitterness to drink.

  • @marinezh I don't worry about the proportions much, usually I put one large leaf in my jar which holds about 2litres of water. I encourage you to find your own proportions again aloe vera is very safe

  • @marinezh If you are treating something and using all the sap it is very bitter and should be used like a medicine. Add about 100mls to your favourite drink 2 or 3x/day you will not notice it at all.

  • By doing it this way, is this compared to The Lily of the Desert brand Aloe Vera juice? Can I add citric acid to it? By the way thanks for sharing your video I enjoyed it. Smooches

  • @Loveyyy592 Hi there! thanks for your comments. I'm not familiar with that brand of Aloe as I always make my own. I don't really like the plastic containers and prefer fresh organic. Aloe is sooooo easy to grow and it is completely non-toxic. You can definitely add citric to it if you want - it's your own, invent, enjoy and let me know how you go!

  • @Loveyyy592 I would be careful with the kind of citric acid though as some are made using fermentation and sulphuric acid.

  • Thanks for sharing this recipe. I am interested in using aloe juice for my chickens as I have read that it is just as beneficial for animals as for humans, but the price of commercially produced juice made it prohibitive for feeding to the chooks. I'll grow my own and get the juice for them (and me) that way!

  • @TheMyfanwe great idea! Thanks for posting.

  • the white jelly is good. what a waste she threw it away.

  • @4GreenEarth2 Hi, Yes you are right the sap is excellent for many different health conditions. I have written about this in the end of the video and there are so many more advantages to including the sap. This recipe is for everyday use without treating severe medical symptoms. A daily tonic, if you will for upkeep of good health. Thanks for your observations.

  • I use Japanese aloe since it's not quite as bitter.

  • @darkyoda
