Not only was he playing with 4th and 5th string guys but he didn't even have a running game, others teams KNEW he was going to pass, if they stopped Don they stopped the Eagles.
Brady ALWAYS had the luxury of great play calling, just look at the routes ran by his WR's even Moss, short slant routes, a bunch of EASY throws to WIDE open receivers with GREAT O-Line blocking as well as a running game, they were and still are the BEST coached team in the NFL.
The talent Don was surrounded with in his prime isn't even as good as the Redskins offense was last year and they were TERRIBLE, I can't make this up. Don in his prime would've taken that team last year to the playoffs easily.
If you watch just about ANY Patriots game you'll notice Brady almost always has PERFECT blocking, he'll have at least 4-6 secs to throw whereas Don will have an average of 3 secs, and that's if his O-line is playing well.
A bunch of undersized guys that were literally 3rd and 4th string players, aside from T.O that is. And he had no running game at all since '03, not even a FB on the roster. They tried putting DT's and cheap guys at FB lmao. His TE even sucked. The situation he was in was TERRIBLE. McNabb's O-line was really bad as well, in his prime he was a bigger, stronger version of what Vick is now, he'd scramble for his life just for his receivers to FINALLY get open.
The one year he finally got T.O he threw for 31 TD's 8 INT's and 3.8 thousand yards. Just imagine if he had another decent WR on the roster (Even an average WR not a pro bowler), a decent O-line, a decent TE, a good FB, and a defense that actually created TO's as well as a running game that took pressure off him. In his prime he'd EASILY put up stats like 4-5k yards a year, 40-50 TD's with very few INT's. And he'd have won MULTIPLE Super Bowls, at least 3.
Not the same game when Philly fans wanted Ricky Williams. Hell in 1990's and 1980's a lot of fans really did not even believe in QBs. Once you had great defense and strong run game it did not matter who was the QB. So many teams won superbowls and championships with Journey man QBs. Not only did Reid actually change the offense from almost nothing but passing to a heavily running offense, he also changed it from a big play offense to a short passing one. Garcia's arm was VERY weak, when Don was in there he'd just have Don chuck it up to a bunch of undersized 3rd and 4th string WR's who were couldn't create separation at all, forcing Don to scramble and make a play.
Meanwhile Reid drew up plays where all Garcia would have to do was throw a 4 yard pass
To a wide open receiver which was extremely easy. When Don was in the game Reid almost NEVER had those type of throws available for Don, everything was 10+ yards.
You see A LOT of these short routes with Brady, he's ALWAYS throwing them to guys like Welker, even Moss when he was there. Same with all the other QB's in the NFL. But with Don you never saw these. The closest thing was a screen pass to B-West which of course Reid abandoned.

McNabb would literally have to do what he's doing in this vid TIME and TIME again just for his WR's to get wide open, just look at these guys Mitchell, Pinkston, Thrash, G-Lewis, he is LITERALLY throwing to 4th and 5th string WR's. The talent Don was surrounded with in his prime isn't even as good as the Redskins offense was last year and they were TERRIBLE, I can't make this up. Don in his prime would've taken that team last year to the playoffs easily.
If you watch just about ANY Patriots game you'll notice Brady almost always has PERFECT blocking, he'll have at least 4-6 secs to throw whereas Don will have an average of 3 secs, and that's if his O-line is playing well.

A bunch of undersized guys that were literally 3rd and 4th string players, aside from T.O that is. And he had no running game at all since '03, not even a FB on the roster. They tried putting DT's and cheap guys at FB lmao. His TE even sucked. The situation he was in was TERRIBLE. McNabb's O-line was really bad as well, in his prime he was a bigger, stronger version of what Vick is now, he'd scramble for his life just for his receivers to FINALLY get open.

The one year he finally got T.O he threw for 31 TD's 8 INT's and 3.8 thousand yards. Just imagine if he had another decent WR on the roster (Even an average WR not a pro bowler), a decent O-line, a decent TE, a good FB, and a defense that actually created TO's as well as a running game that took pressure off him. In his prime he'd EASILY put up stats like 4-5k yards a year, 40-50 TD's with very few INT's. And he'd have won MULTIPLE Super Bowls, at least 3.

Tom Brady is good QB but he won those three rings cuz of his deffense kind of like Ben Rothlesberger...Brady became an elite QB in 06 and he havent won since lol....BTW he had Branch before the injuries (SB MVP) He had David Givens and Brown who were gd Recievers who knew how to play their role...but who did Mcnabb have? @Curtis7414 mcnabb's defenses have always been great over the years when jim johnson was D.C. and yes branch was a solid wr but david givens and troy brown really? mcnabb had brian westbrook wen he was a beast and kevin curtis and reggie brown were way better than givens and troy brown and LJ smith was a solid TE, too so brady has done alot more with less

Like Eagles Coach Andy Reid said NFL and refs favor some QBs over other QBs. REAL NFL Brady would not last. Brady ain't tough enough. Brady is a crybaby. Patriots are cheaters. Starting with TUCK RULE. Andy Reid cost Eagles in big games by going with that stupid pass happy shit. Brady can't take hits. McNabb can. Conspiracy in NFL!!!

Andy Reid's way too pass happy ways cost Eagles big games in past. @SpraxIAKS Defense cost Eagles game only cuz Kurt Warner is one of those PROTECTED QBs. Eagles defensive players avoid hitting Warner late so they can avoid Flag 15 yard penalty and fine up to maybe 20,000 dollars. Thats why Jim Johnson did not call many blitz.They say Warner has quick release,which he does but in REAL NFL days they would attack more.Marino had maybe quickest release, but they always blitzed him and punished him.Different game now.Reid should of RAN ball more

@JR21117 They always blamed McNabb meaning the media.I remember in 2006 the Eagles were struggling and McNabb got hurt and then came Garcia.The media talked shit about McNabb.But......The media did NOT want to admit that Andy Reid was calling a much more balanced offense when Garcia took over. McNabb was best Play-Action QB in the league, remember McNabb's perferct game VS Lions.That was when Coach Reid called a balance offense the day the Eagles wore those strange light blue jerseys.

Not only did Reid actually change the offense from almost nothing but passing to a heavily running offense, he also changed it from a big play offense to a short passing one. Garcia's arm was VERY weak, when Don was in there he'd just have Don chuck it up to a bunch of undersized 3rd and 4th string WR's who were couldn't create separation at all, forcing Don to scramble and make a play.
Meanwhile Reid drew up plays where all Garcia would have to do was throw a 4 yard pass

To a wide open receiver which was extremely easy. When Don was in the game Reid almost NEVER had those type of throws available for Don, everything was 10+ yards.
You see A LOT of these short routes with Brady, he's ALWAYS throwing them to guys like Welker, even Moss when he was there. Same with all the other QB's in the NFL. But with Don you never saw these. The closest thing was a screen pass to B-West which of course Reid abandoned.

@rob3132 Cutler and Rodgers are protected too.Not as protected as Brady but more than Big Ben or McNabb.Since 1998 they been protecting weak QBs like Brady. Too many QBs coming out of nowhere over the last 10 years. Andy Dalton passes for 300 yards every game this year. Thats ridicoulos. NFL is too soft now. Also NFL does NOT like Black QBs. Very true and damn shame

So as you see the Eagles' defense were the ones who CHOKED when it mattered not Don. Don and B West were CARRYING the team on their backs.
Oh and there is a reason aside from T.O there isn't a SINGLE other receiver/TE that Don played with that moved on to another team and had success prior to Vick coming in. Nearly ALL of Don's former receivers/TE's don't even have a job in the NFL anymore because they couldn't make the team, that shows you the talent he was playing with.
