They are just keeping up with the times. Im 18 years old, and yeah I dont like this intro compared to the 90's ones I was used to but I dont watch this show. If the children of today like it and are learning from it, why should I care? I never watch the show anymore but it only seems logical that theyd need to advance their technology to attract kids today. My 7 year old cousin already has a cell phone, she doesnt want to see a intro that looks liek it was made from the 80's.

I was a 90's kid. But my mom had Sesame Street tapes from the 70's (which doesn't really make sense because she was in high school in the 70's) So I watch Sesame Street on tapes form the 70's and 80's and watched it on tv from the 90's to the early 2000's and something is missing here.... The warmness... Too musch animation.... WHERE ARE THE PUPPETS errrr MUPPETS OR BOTH!!!

Mmm i also don't like the opening, yes the song is messed up, but what really got to me was the over-digitization of the visuals, with all this CGI flaps opening and closing, its so distracting and ruins from the true childhood innocence of the original. The old opening really focused on the kids /puppets enjoying life, rather than digital things flying and flipping around.

I miss the originality this show had. I guess it's alright for this generation, but I don't think that this generation is learning everything it should. The show is starting to lack that special something that kept most of us fans hanging onto when we were little.
