  • I don't understand this. This kid does nothing to help anyone. Attention whore at best. It doesn't matter. Who cares? Is it really that important? no such thing as world peace. this guy is crazy. and so are all of you for getting into this mad idea.

  • I like the original version better.

  • Dear Tara, where actually does the music for this trailer come from? Did anybody write it? It's what drew me to the film in the first place, so long ago. Now I've got Peace Pilgrim's book... and dream of walking :)

  • Incredible, I am so inspired! You are grea!

  • hi foxy, thanks for coming on and commenting.. i agree, id give anything to walk with him again, too. this film has just been finished and i hope you will get something out of it.tara

  • I'd walk with him where ever he went if I could hold his hand! But seriously, that's really cool that he will walk hundreds of miles for something he believes in.

  • She affected my life too.

  • Most excellent work. I believe. I think we have the same image of what life should be. Thank you.

  • dude the way you talk is amazing you must have a really peacefull mind

  • Beautiful once again. It inspires me so , so much. Well done! One step at a a time. This is what it is about. ONe step at a time

    Blessings

    Jason

  • awesome. :)

  • oh wow!

the scenery in this version is just..

    just... BREATH TAKING.

I can only imagine the veiws you and chase saw...

  • An interesting dialog in this clip, a man facing his realities, considering, and confronting them. Great vid! Thanks

  • I've never heard of the Pilgrim of Peace but I would love to see what this movie will become.

  • I would have LOVED to have met you both! Tara- that was/is a PHENOMENAL project. I am just so sorry that Chase is no longer with us. He is a DOLL! What a fine person. Acting? I don't THINK so- he is PERFECT. Thanks for this. Peace.

  • thank you MB, for your enthusiastic support and condolences.Scotland and England were very very good to us..i just returned from a second trip there this summer and am happy to report strides are being made on the edit of Peace Walker.

  • And I am SO ordering an autographed copy of it once it releases on DVD! Congrats on the "strides" made this Summer. I have not watched every film yet but heard from Brigid about the one with the police and have watched the one on the "fork" in the path. Powerful stuff and it ought to win you SERIOUS accolades because it is exceptional beautiful. But hey- Scotland helped! LOL!

  • We talk, and we come to agreement on the world we want to make real, and it becomes real.

When we believe in peace and speak of peace, then Peace becomes real.

Thank you for your words of peace.

  • good movie, but I don't see how it has anything to do with Make a CHANGE.

  • dont you think that if there was peace, that would be a change?

  • Fascinating project. I hope you have a chance to finish it.

  • yes, what a wonderful mission, the interviewer is so negative, but has no effect on people of peace.

  • well im going to walk 2000 miles for peace. Does that count still?

  • Great Video, I read peace pilgrims book too several years ago...and ended up walking/hitch hiking in Japan with almost nothing just going from temple to temple (any religion) her story goes on!

  • did you go to MaryPort near scotland? think i saw place like in your vid when i whent travling with holz with my dad (i think the place was called MaryPort)

  • I really love this video, and tell all my friends about it. I'm desperately searching for Peace of Mind at the moment, and this is something that I would do. I like the guy alot in the video, but did I just read that he died? I sure hope not.x

  • I like the original edit the best :-)

  • lol THIS ROX!

  • There were 20 angels in this world

    10 are sleeping

    9 are playing

    1 was in this video.

im sooo sad chase died. ='(

the video is soo inspiring and i tell all my friends about the peace walk

  • oh,, i was about to delete this as one of the HUNDREDS of chain comments i receive till i read the end.. thank you.. its really sweet...I am having a hard time now, and your words are kind.

  • really cool one.... contains a lots of feelings and inspiration.

  • this seems like something that i would do. well i would probably bike not walk.

point is, awesome video, very inspirational.

  • I like the editing. But it seems like an ad for that woman's book. Is that what you wanted? It almost seems like the book is more important than the peace of mind it talks about.

  • This is a really nice edit. You did a great job

  • VERY NICE EDIT!!! I LIKE IT VERY MUCH!

  • How many days did it take you?

  • it took ten weeks to do the hike.

  • Nice work

  • Beautiful video! Great work

  • I love the idea for this project and film.

How beautiful that by making this documentary about others who have impacted the peace movement- Chase himself would have such a profound influence.

xoxoxo- this stuff should be featured on youtube and also on national news. I will pay to see it in theaters.

  • inspirational !

  • "to walk a thousand miles and not make any money at the end of it..."

Sure! you just amassed wealth which no one can ever take away and which will last you the rest of your life. You ain't so crazy are you? Young and already becoming wise! I enjoy seeing all your videos. Thanks for taking me along

    Dennis (dennysland)

  • very good, this sweet!!!

  • This is so wonderful and inspirational. I also believe the step to world peace starts with inner peace and peace among individuals. This video excites me. Wonderful editing. Warmest Regards, Pattipi

  • Very atmospheric and well-edited. Looking forward to making time to view more than the few I've seen in this series. Do you see these shorts working together as a single film/vid perhaps?

  • Gorgeous. Amazing, and gorgeous. Although the original edit is fabulous, but this new edit is even better! :-) Good job!

  • Iall i have to say is WOW

    tony vera

  • Like the end, the sound and the pace better than the first. Cutting away at the end there to show chase walking is brilliant. had you stayed with him I think i would have felt uneasy/uncomfortable. good job.

  • I told her i wish I could reach into my soul and pull out some magic to make it all go away...but alas this is reality, and sometimes it really sucks. My deepest condolences to Chase's family & friends. He will be deeply missed by all.

  • You do wonderful work as always. Crisp and clear.

  • i like the music. this new edit involves some cut back shots to the interviewer, and i should take issue with that unless the piece is about the interviewer (which i seriously think it isn't). i think that the person interviewing is not a critical visual point, the piece is about this young man (however unhinged he is) and bringing in the interviewer only distracts from the main focus. for my $.02

  • very awesome and very inspirational. keep it up!!!

  • are you scottish?

  • Tara, glad you fixed the sound issue, and i love the new B-roll you captured. As your editor u need 2 log more stuff so we can work on the installment. Peace. Brett

  • Thank you. This is amazing. I'm going to post this on my blog. :)

  • I ran both versions side by side to compare. The new one is much tighter. Dialog is pared down, succinct, and still serves the visuals (maybe better.) Love the new landscapes and the way things are woven together.

  • Great edit. The scenery looks so serene and peaceful. Wish I was there, lol.

  • i kinda prefer the hippy storyline. other than that i think its great!!

  • cool edit...liked the old one like this one...you got talent by the sackful...

  • did you consider putting in a few bagpipes?

  • Beautiful work. You certainly have a gift more so than most indie artist I've seen out there. You have a real gift when it comes to transitions, audio dubs, and postcard perfect scenes, not to mention the perfect timing in which you mix it all. The background music has a mystical quality. It is more of a magic shop kind of sound, but I think it fits fine because it lifts the imagination into the story.

  • Wonderful editing job on this Tara. The transitions are far more natural and give the viewer more of a chance to relate to the subject matter. Also easier to watch Chase in this without feeling a major disconnect to his person.

  • I'm not sure if it's the new edit, or if it's just seeing this intro again after watching the other installments, but I find it even more compelling than I did originally.

  • I love this vid

  • wonderful TG

  • Gorgeous photography and solid video editing. The clip does make me want to see the entire film - on a big screen, preferably. Those outdoor shots demand a theater, I think.

  • Absolutely beautiful, Tara! Very tight editing, mood and emotion filled imagery... A real masterpiece. Congratulations!

  • I love this video. It is so, so, so very beautiful. It looks magical. It looks like it's animation but you know it isn't. It's incredible. Beautiful.
