Interesting to see him without his mustache. Remember that he did Fred for My Fair Lady although his singing was Bill Shirley, Prince Phillip in Sleeping Beauty released in 1959 and My Fair Lady released in 1964.
@SlakeDragon He was brought up quite posh (his father told him to change his name when he got in to acting, so as not to dishonor the family) so I imagine that's how he learned to talk.
@Frenchaccro Really? That would explain it, I suppose. I just assumed it was because of his upbringing 'cause others have pronounced that way as well.
oscar wilde would love the way jeremy plays the role, in fact jeremy playing him would have been something to see! vincent price did a play that is about wilde..jeremy jeremy we need more men who can play droll dashing men like this again
I still think style, elegance and the opportunity to making a biting comment or two is important to make this life a good piece of art! One of my favorite scenes is the ball in "Wuthering Heights" w/Lawrence et Merle Oberon - a masterpiece when it comes to manipulation and jealousy. Another one is this! My heartfelt thanks for sharing it with us!
Gee whiz! That man has no qualms about making someone else jealous does he. "She's a genius in the daytime, and a beauty at night." Straight to another woman's face!! I have never seen anything else of this movie, but am madly in love with him already!! Jeremy Brett is the only thing I know anything about, aside from nothing. And I love listening to beautiful people too.
see, this is how lord goring is SUPPOSSED to be played, the other guy's performance with minnie driver...gives you the impression that he's doing everyone a favor (especially the lady's) that he's even giving them the time of day!!!!!
Christinah3000, I really loved this video . Jeremy is so charming in it..."I should have stayed away longer, I loved being missed'' That line is priceless. If you have anymore clips from this show please post them.

What a loss to the world when dear Jeremy went - we need more beautiful people and he was one - both inside and out from all accounts. Love
it - thanks for uploading.

@TheGhostilyGhost . He had a speech impediment when a child: could not pronounce "r", and worked his life long to mend it
