good grief, its called suspension of belief, some of you way overanalyzed this flick.

I personally love the imagination that went into it. The soundtrack was flawless. Reminded me of the old fashioned movies.

As for the ship guns, they are in a freaking factory area, most ships aren't manned in a factory shipyard......

Could have been far worse, admit the ending where it looks like they fought to a stalemate was a better option than making it look too one sided.

Just think it could have shown the germans had built several of those not just one, of course it doesn't explain why it wasn't sent through europe to reach the states rather than use the same route as the japanese model but hey it s a fine effort!

This guy is pretty talented. I wonder how long it took to animate, do audio, etc. What I like about ametuer animations though is the cheesy voices. I'm not trash-talking, I just think it puts a bit of comedy into it. Love the battling robots, though.
