@WhatsAYak $1,000,000 Chance of a Lifetime premiered on September 8, 1986 on such stations as WOR-TV (now WWOR-TV) in Secaucus, WGBS-TV (now WPSG-TV) in Philadelphia, WPWR-TV in Chicago and KCOP-TV in Los Angeles.
In fact, back in 1985-86, WOR had every syndicated game show except for Wheel, J!, Love Connection, and the New Newlywed Game (as far as I know, although the latter 2 would join the revamped WWOR lineup down the road)
@WhatsAYak I didn't know that.

@TimFrith24 - Actually, it aired on KYW in Philly and KHJ (now KCAL) in LA, and the premiere date was Jan. 6, 1986.

Thanks for this.
This was my favorite game show back in the 80s.

Catch Phrase and Break the Bank aired between 9-10AM on WCBS for their full runs, and Perfect Match replaced Catch Phrase on 1/13/86.

Break the Bank, Headline Chasers, and Catch Phrase, and Kennedy TPIR didn't air on WOR for a new.

@zachhoran I thought Break the Bank and Catch Phrase did? Headline Chasers was on WABC and TPIR was on WNBC- both in late night.

Michael Hanks didn't announce the series, though. Mark someone or other announced the early episodes, and Johnny Gilbert announced most of the run.

I really wish GSN would air the reruns of this classic game show. I haven't seen this show since I was 5 years old!

Ah, those few months in 1986 when Ch. 9 had 3 1/2 hrs of game shows a day...can it get any better?

8:30 had Viacom's best of Feud rerun package from September 1985-September 1986.

In the 2nd season it was changed to 8:30 just before the million dollar movie. How ironic.
