Robert Townsend was never given his dues. While Spike Lee had so much popularity from the late 80s-onwards, Robert is criminally brilliant. Brilliant director, writer, and actor.....he was so much talented than Spike Lee. Let's face it! Spike is a terrible actor. As much as I enjoyed Spike's works, Robert's work is much more better than Spike's. He could actually write a story and act for once. Not an easy thing to do. Hollywood Squares shall remain my favorite movie of all times by this man.
