comedian was a nihilist, but couldn't come to grips with adrian's plan to kill millions. adrian killed him to cover up his plot. rorschach believes the world is black and white evil must be punished, and he had to die to protect the peace adrian created. he wouldn't have been able to keep the secret because he's a moral objectivist. adrian is a moral relativist and make the impossible decision that none of the others could, to kill millions to save billions. its an argument for moral relativity.

That he was doing something really cool that no one else could say they did. The whole thing about him getting set on fire, that would of been cool if they had gotten that on film.
