man i love those pipes..only problem for me is they have no heatshields which might not be good with forward controls. would you say their obnoxious at low speed? are their any quiet baffles options for these? They say you gain about 8-11 horsepower on these..what do you think? cheers for the vid!

@mission100uk Those pipes are a little noisy, but you will get a lot of extra HP. I don't know if there's other quiet baffles than the vance & hines one. greetz

@pixeldad thanks.. I had some short shots with quiet baffles in them on my street bob and they take the edge off on lower speeds which was nice. I just wondered if V&H do the same quiet baffles for these pipes as well...ill have to research.. i live in the city so not sure i can get away with super loud pipes like that! thanks again..!

really NICE!! check out my bike! im thinking of lifting the tank 3 inches, relocating the ignition/coil, and the front spoiler looks really good! i might add that too!!!

Did you lift the tank? If yes why did you do that?

And why did you lift the rear of the bike too?

Yes, I lift the tank. It's just to get a different shape, with the front spoiler.

The rear of the bike is stock here in Spain, but recently I have upgraded to a Legend Air Suspension.

Um yes that's true that in Europe the rear of the Nightster and Iron is always higher...

I have these on order for my Iron. I can't wait! Oh and they're louder too eh!!?? Perfect. Do you find they get too hot, have you conciderd wrapping them in heat tape?

@hippisteven Those are really hot, but I don't really like the look that would get the bike with tape. I think the tape is more "old-school" and the pipes a little more "racing"
