Just play a barred A major on the fifth fret and run your barred finger down one fret on the low E, giving you the lower g#... unless you specifically like the open string sound but with the next chord being a barred F# doesn't really matter...

There is an alternative chord I have worked out instead of the A/G# chord which causes some difficulty. Use an A/Ab chord instead. This chord is exactly the same as the A chord except you flatten the A on the 3rd string. If you can't do it, google 'A/Ab chord' and you will find it...

@Zohdiak "over" just means to put that note in the bass, so you fret the unused E string at the G# (4th fret). So, it's:

@Zohdiak Not to sure, but I think it's the index finger holding down the A open chord (D,G,B string) but barre it on 2nd fret. Ring finger on the Low E (6th six) 4th fret. I don't believe you use the middle or pinky. I personally have never seen it, but that's what she's doing. :)
