Ive seen these guys live and they really are that good. Ive seen every major band/singer you can think of and half the time youre thinking they need to practice more or that the studio does magic. These guys are this perfect in Every song. Live. And NO AUTOTUNE . And they have the best guitar in rock period.
Met these awesome guys on a couple of occasions, truly nice guys. Mark Rogers was just as nice. Now add their great music and why would you not attend their concerts? Powerful music and shows are great. Don Barnes still has it.
They play Sturgis a lot. Great biker band. Great band period. I'm still counting my mistakes and I'm never gonna say good-bye. There's no good in either one is there?
you guys ROCK!!! have been my favorite band for ever!!!!!!!!!!!! WANT TOto see you. and rock and roll!!! , BUT PLEASE...SOMEWHERE CLOSE TO CANADA LOVEYOU GUYS...
WELL PEOPLE IN THE VIDEO THE GUY WITHTHE REALLY LONG HAIR & COWBOY HAT ON LOOKS JUST LIKE ME DOWN TO A TEE IM A guitar player in a band & ive been getting people telling me that i have a twin in this video so when i saw this vid i was astounded that the guitar player loks just like me even my sis says he looks like me.....
I'm with ya hohopr12. Been happily married for 20 years, but songs like these always seem to ask the question of 'what might have been'. I miss my LMS also.
Does Van Zandt ever stand still? Saw these guys years ago and I remember my friend laughing and saying, "Van Zandt". The guy has so much energy. He never stopped moving around the whole time.
Don Barnes - I know you don't remember this, but the first time we heard .38 live was early 1976 when Jimmy Carter was running for President. You guys and many others played a benefit concert for J.C. at the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, FL. Lynard Skynard didn't show up, but rather than cheat the fans, you guys played an extended set. After the concert, you were kind enough to take a photo with my wife, and we still have that picture. Thanks, DB. Just keep rockin', my man.
Don barns, made that band the guys that replaced the drummer, guitarist and keyboardist, in this concert did a great job. And Don Barnes does rule, and hope he does kick it for a long time.
This without a doubt ...is my favorite from this jammin' group. I see them every chance I get. They play many biker events and they are LOVED at each and every location.
@thumperinflorida My favorite 38 special song. Every time i hear this song i break out the guitar i couldnt play if my life depended on it and try again. They can do magic with their guitars.
We Americans just love our wild eyed southern brothers Donnie and Johnny ... and Ronnie (RIP) we'll never forget you!! Great singing by Don Barnes, as always!
Brenda We need to raise Hell to get it back! With the horses running and the morion flowing and fire THIS IS A LET DOWN after THAT. I'm wt you Babe!!100%!!
I love 38 Special. They never disappoint. Did you see Crossroads this weekend on CMT with them and Trace Adkins? They rocked. I love Trace too, but he didn't quite fit in with them. I think he's too much of a bass to sing with them. They are more tenors.
i always loved these guys- more so than skynyrd... so much more musical... the vocals were light years ahead of them... this song was the first one i ever heard by them. it still rocks my soul... so much emotion!!!

One of their best songs. Now only if they would actually play Teacher Teacher in it's entirety instead of in a medley.

There was a mistake. Playing a benefit for the worse President in history, well, until now. Socialism anyone?
