I love this game. it looks amazing. im getting it tomorrow. YAY you are very good at the battles. you play them on hard and win and i play them on easy and loose. can u give me any tips to help me out?

having played total war games since shogun sure helps =). Practice is the most important, just save before battles, and keep redoing them until you win.

I like the replenishing as well, makes you feel like you actually fought a battle that meant something and makes the battles more costly.

i think the replenishing is a really good idea it makes it far more realistic and interesting to play.

I always use the paid fraps version, it's around 25 bucks, program is worth it =).

Do they still have firing by rank in this game? I've been watching some online battles and they don't seem to do so anymore.

No they dont,napoelon didnt use it i believe but to make up for it they amde reload time faster

@WRH90059 I'll have to read up more about Napoleon. Didn't other nations still use it though? Also, I thought that the French had a system where back ranks would reload muskets and pass them up to the front while the front rank fired.

Im not too sure either,Some nations did,i think the brits used it sometimes,the british used 2 lines tho because they found it more devastating or something.Yeh i think i read something about about the reload fire system,but it wasnt used much.
