As cool as StarCraft II looks, I'm not sure how well it will be recieved upon release. I mean, I like it, but I seriously doubt it's going to be an easy transition from the game that redefined the RTS genre a decade ago and continues to be the standard by which all others are made today.

But that's just me.

Its not just how cool the game looks and the fact that fans have waited almost a decade for the sequel to be announced. They put on a show. That "GG" thing at the end was applause worthy to top it all off.

Starship Troopers - It is the original book that inspired Starcraft, Warhammer 40k, Halo, etc (All the science fiction military games/genre) Read it.

THE BOOK is vastly DIFFERENT from the movie that came out a few years ago. The book was written in the 1950s. The movie changes a few things.

Might want to read Armor by Steakley and Forever War by Haldeman also. Great works in the Sci-Fi Military genre.

Im sure its gonna be in the storyline, since in the Zerg backstory, their ultimate goal is to get Protoss DNA so they can become perfect...

It doesn't matter if your Terrans, Zerg, or Protoss...I can play them all and win easily, just different strategies. I usually put Random everytime because it's all the same..just time and clock work. well not the same..maybe the races are spelled differently and they look different but overall its all same.
