wish i saw this video a year ago, the 13" was the biggest waste of money,...for $2000 when it came out it had a 250gig hdd and a core 2 duo, and the 15" model was only $150 more and came with a i7.

the worst part of both of these laptops, for 2 Grand you don't even get a backlit keyboard, HP's designers must've been on meth, otherwise i would've bought one.

"ENVY" in which means:

Bill Gates originally fully supported Macintosh 9calling it the best computer on the market) and urged Apple to copyright their OS and Mass produce it. Apple was reluctant to do it and Bill Gates decided to move forward without them. He improved the Mac OS copyrighted it, and mass produced it. The fact that Apple went from 60% to 6% of computer market share is not Bill Gates' fault. It's the fault of Apple for not recognizing its own potential.

Have you actually used Windows side by side with Mac OS? Let me guess, you didn't. If you did, you wouldn't call it basic, and garbage. There is much more you can do with Windows than Mac OS. Unlike you, I have used nearly every single Windows and Mac OS extensively (and side by side) and I own 7 windows computers and 3 macs. When you have that on your resume - we'll continue this argument.

Basic in what? What does Mac OS have to offer that Windows doesn't? And don't say power, power comes from hardware - not software.

Bottom line (like I said before) is that there is much more you can do with Windows than Mac OS, you can't deny that. Also, Windows is a better choice for an average consumer than Mac OS. Macs are better at professional tasks - I don't deny that, but for Macs to overtake Windows, Apple has to aim their computers at a consumer market - not a corporate market

Windows doesn't even have system wide spell check, or the ability to open a disk image, or any decent video editing software. imovie has green screen... GREEN SCREEN!!!

It makes me sad when I see a powerpoint. They are so bad. all Microsoft does is give a new look to a product. maybe 1 or 2 new features (99% of the time mac already has) and calls it new.

This video did not mention the battery life of this machine. Usually, intel core i7 takes about 90 watts of power. So, if HP made it possible to put core i7, technically, it will drain the battery life, 3x or maybe 5x as fast.

I have the Envy 13, super awsome notebook, but I custom ordered it, the base model has crappy resolution in the screen, i left out the cd/dvd rw because its too expensive vs the ones from samsung fro example, the base model witch u get pre built brings a tray dvd drive, no slot loading blu ray, and they always show the slot loading blue ray in the presentations...

its an awsome notbook, top notch, but do ur due diligence and explore ur options

Keys are not backlit, on any of the envy models... I moved from vaio to this envy, trust me... this is the way to go.
