The only thing I have a problem with is people feeding bread to the swans. Bread is BAD for swans and ducks! Bread provides ZERO nutritional value and is just empty filler. Then they don't eat the greens they need to live. They actually will starve on a full stomach. You should never actually feed them anything. They become dependent on humans.
@wreckingball34 Actually bread does contain certain nutritional value, like high amounts of corn that give energy for the animal, because the animal protection service over here is asking citizens to feed bread to the ducks, swans and geese out here when winter kicks in hard. It seems to me that especially them wouldn't ask such a thing if it were bad for the animals right ? ^^ You shouldn't feed WHITE bread. Only the whole-weat kinds of breads, that's the tricky part XD

Unless the swans got out the water this is fairly harmless. Swans are very friendly trustworthy creatures and that dopey little pooch is hardly going to do any harm. Best to ease on the side of caution though in case the dog slipped in the water, but I don't think it's anywhere near as dramatic as some make out.

Hi, Pommit - nothing is really wrong with the dog. My argument is with the owner who has deliberately set up a provocative situation of dog vs. swan.
Like some sadist who offers only one piece of candy to two small children, and then says, "Gee, I don't know why they are fighting." (Just like the bread in this incident)

The swans are beautiful..(and the dog too)...but bread is not good for them...or ducks for that matter. It has no nutional value. There diets should consist of greens, cracked corn, and waterfowl pellets. Just an FYI....beautiful works of nature..huh?
