I have been thinking the same thing. I am watching the series again and thought, "it is time they get back together for a movie." As far as story line, there are many directions to go. They could actually be called back to space on a mission in the delta quadrant. they could go to help a race they met before. Whatever direction it goes, I think it would make a great movie.

I would love star trek Voyager reloaded. The female caretaker brings voyager back to the delta quadrant to destroy voyager. The female caretaker acts one last act of vengeance before she dies (like the original caretaker) leaving Voyager in the delta quadrant once again. Janeaway sets a new coarse for home but instead of the way they traveled before they travel thru the Gamma quadrant trying to reach the worm hole next to DS9. All new adventures.......

I have always been wondering about a Voyager movie where Seven actually became the new Borg Queen after reaching Earth. The old queens way of finally assimilating Earth by using a human/borg.
if paramount had done this in 2009 instead of the film abortion they made us suffer then the franchise wouldn't be in the sorry state it is. (not making DS9 would have also been an improvement)

@ammarios i wish they had left the series ending open for movie installments. in other words, instead of them reaching earth at the end, they couldve presented endgame without old janeway and continued the events without her meddling hence leaving the series wide open for movie installments depicting their ongoing journey home. this couldve given a reason for at least a few voyager movies with people always eager to line up at the box office to see if janeway and crew ever make it home.
@ammarios I agree in my opinion I really think they could have done it, and if they wanted a good plot they good of had the dinosaur humanoids from "distant origin" returning to earth that could have made for an amazing story, as a conflict between the earth emerges while Voyager is caught right up in the middle of it.

Even though I'm a few years in viewing it, I hope my post isn't too late.
i just realized that the entire series is a movie haha, voyager had its own predictable resolution, it would be hard to find a story to revolve a movie. Same can be said with DS9 unlike the TOS and TNG which ended its series with a sense of continuation of there voyages. It would be intresting if the writers would come up something that won't be an epic fail.
Just seen a comment that says Janeway makes bad decisions. I disagree. I think she has principles. One of my fav Janeway moments is in an episode with invisible aliens who are doing medical experiments on the crew. In the end she puts the ship on collision course with some sort of star. Quite reckless but i like her guts.
It was a good show.... fuck lot better than Enterprise. Just as good as BSG to me, but it had one flaw and a reason you couldnt make a movie with it, the Crew, they were too PC and they characters could have been cast by the gay and lesbian equal rights advocates or rainbow. A black vulcan, a female captain, a subordinate but minority second in command, a half klingon female, pretty much it was a feminized star trek crew, the only thing that made the show run was seven of nine.
Will we really see a Voyager movie? I'm hearing, the origional crew again for the sequel. Sure I would love to see a Voyager movie, but how likely will we see Kate & her crew do this. After all Deep Space 9 was after The Next Generation. So it must be as follows: Deep Space & then Voyager. Would also like to see Enterprise in the movie screens as well. But you may as well say "Comming soon to a theatre near you."

Crew is the best? You mean unbelievably boring Harry Kim, stupid duo Paris+Torres or that retarded talaxian? Voyager wan't bad, but it doesn't stand chance against TNG.
And huge armada of ships and glorious battles is not the way of star trek(leave that for Star wars please). We could only see that in ds9, but I think it's not a way star trek is meant to be.
The pirates music really worked well with the explosions scenes... and I like the concept. Maybe some cut scenes of the year of hell episode would have worked better with them constantly under attack. but overall a nice video m8
I really enjoyed Voyager too. However, I feel Janeway was the worst capt. She is responsible for half of the problems they faced. Her crew spent half of the series fixing her mistakes. Even 7 of 9 called her out on it.

A Voyager movie would have been Great ! Nemesis should never have even been made . STX shoukd have been about the Starship Voyager 2. Captain Janeway and molst of her crew from the Voyager 1 ( now parked at the Air and Space museum) could have led the charge to explore space towards the Deep Space Delta Quadrant ! Boring and played out Picard wouldn't have been boring us to death Onscreen and we would have had a Great story ! Worf being assinged to the Voyager 2 would have spiced it up !

Why do people think that this show should get a movie? VOY was a third rate Star Trek show along with DS9 in terms of popularity. You'd have to pay like 600 dollars per ticket to make a Voyager movie profitable. Even TNG movies didn't make a ton of money. Even a direct to DVD movie wouldn't be worth it for Paramount. They'd make nothing from it. Only the hardcore VOY fans who post on youtube and facebook would buy it.
extremly well done, just like the previews of real movies gives you all the hype and excitment but leaves out all the boring dribble, and awesome soundtrack by the way and yes voyager was a good serries one of the best as far as i am concerned
0:48- 0:50 is primarily season 2's Deadlock. The "Janeway talking to a battered Janeway" scene, and the "Harry Kim being sucked out of the hull breach" scene. Don't know where the beauty shot of Voyager was taken from. Deadlock ends with one of Voyager's most often quoted lines. "We're Starfleet Officers, Mr Kim. 'Weird' is part pf the job." :-)
The shot *after* the double scene at 0:49 is from "Favourite Son" which is in season 3. It's the episode where Harry almost gets the life sucked out of him by a ravenous horde of women ;)

they should make a Voyager movie because VOY is the best, the ship is the best, the crew is the best and captain is the best. It could be interesting to get the crew together again with same actors. They can put story in 2390s and perhaps send one huge armada of ships to delta quadrant leading by admiral Janeway and Voyager to fight against Borg for example or some new power in d.q.

Crew is the best? You mean unbelievably boring Harry Kim, stupid duo Paris+Torres or that retarded talaxian? Voyager wan't bad, but it doesn't stand chance against TNG.
And huge armada of ships and glorious battles is not the way of star trek(leave that for Star wars please). We could only see that in ds9, but I think it's not a way star trek is meant to be.

The pirates music really worked well with the explosions scenes... and I like the concept. Maybe some cut scenes of the year of hell episode would have worked better with them constantly under attack. but overall a nice video m8

I enjoyed Voyager the most out of all the Star Trek franchises.I thought Janeway was the best captain of them all.

I really enjoyed Voyager too. However, I feel Janeway was the worst capt. She is responsible for half of the problems they faced. Her crew spent half of the series fixing her mistakes. Even 7 of 9 called her out on it.

A Voyager movie would have been Great ! Nemesis should never have even been made . STX shoukd have been about the Starship Voyager 2. Captain Janeway and molst of her crew from the Voyager 1 ( now parked at the Air and Space museum) could have led the charge to explore space towards the Deep Space Delta Quadrant ! Boring and played out Picard wouldn't have been boring us to death Onscreen and we would have had a Great story ! Worf being assinged to the Voyager 2 would have spiced it up !

Why do people think that this show should get a movie? VOY was a third rate Star Trek show along with DS9 in terms of popularity. You'd have to pay like 600 dollars per ticket to make a Voyager movie profitable. Even TNG movies didn't make a ton of money. Even a direct to DVD movie wouldn't be worth it for Paramount. They'd make nothing from it. Only the hardcore VOY fans who post on youtube and facebook would buy it.

0:48- 0:50 is primarily season 2's Deadlock. The "Janeway talking to a battered Janeway" scene, and the "Harry Kim being sucked out of the hull breach" scene. Don't know where the beauty shot of Voyager was taken from. Deadlock ends with one of Voyager's most often quoted lines. "We're Starfleet Officers, Mr Kim. 'Weird' is part pf the job." :-)

The shot *after* the double scene at 0:49 is from "Favourite Son" which is in season 3. It's the episode where Harry almost gets the life sucked out of him by a ravenous horde of women ;)
