wow your a dumbass, there is no guildwars pvp, it is completely retarded how its set up and its just arenas. Wow pvp is amazing and actually takes skill ntm theres world pvp which makes the game completely incredible compared to guildwars. And yes i play wow and yes i wasted 40$ on guildwars.

Yes is easy to argue taht the combat system is much better done then the spell system. You do however also get Fatality's with spell. A Necromancer foreks have a Fatality where on a spell kill will summon a Big Ice Demon to fight alongside you for a while. Spellweaving will also be in at release. Don't now how much you've read about that, but its going to be wicked and awesome!
i had the impression that age of conan was supposed to have a better type of casting system. this looks EXACTLY like wow. Don't get me wrong, i hope this can take WoWs place, but im kind of losing my faith.
This guy playing the Demo is totally suck too, don't let his opinion of the class speak for the Demonologist as a whole. Maybe he didn't have it trained yet, but the Demo's root spell - Storm Chains - is devastating against melee and makes the mages night unstoppable vs most melee classes.
Casters are fine, you just are really bad playing them. You wasted far too much time casting aoe spells. AOE is used when there are a bunch of people fighting grouped up in an area, not for 1 on 1. Demonologist has powerful direct damage fire spells that you never tried to use. You can kill most people in 2 to 4 hits. Necromancer you just use life leech and flesh to worms, then while they tick away you spam ice strike or pestilence blast. Casters are very powerful if used correctly.
concerning the Pet for the Demonologist, it didn't seem to really add to the damage ability of the casters spells, slow on casting it's own spells as well. Have you looked into really what advantage this will give you if any? 2 vs 1 should have some advantage.

You forgot to buff yourself too (except one +damage one you had running in the vid).. Necros have like five they can have running simultaneously one of which is a shield that absorbs up to 270 damage before dropping which may only be a few casts off a Demo or 4/5 hits from a melee class but it all helps.
You said you had a snare ability on the Demonologist in the video. Even if its doesn't work half the time as a caster you should be using it, if not, sprinting for you life when in melee. The Nercomancer has shorter range than Demon and it sounded like you knew that ahead of time. You should of had you pets do the work. BTW life as a caster doesn't seem hard if it takes 2 hits for about 10% of you life.

Il try to say this as politely as i can, but you aren't really a good pvper. You did ok as a demo, but as a necro your hotbar was setup terribley, and you didnt even use several of your dots. Also you kind of complained when you died, casters definately arent bad clases.
Seriously dude, you said it yourself like 5-7times "I AM A CASTER" = I am not strong in melee.. So why the f**k do you start melee'ing the people that are so close? runing and casting is the natural way to do it. And one more thing, the choice of spells you use in PVP and PVE is based on time, long casting time spells = First attack or mobs NOT ppl. And therefor fast casting spells = main dmg and pvp spells regardles of what dmg.

Mmm...WoW has a very small skill cap. All mmorpgs do. Being successful has more to do with team compositions.
This game looks pretty standard in combat, and I think it probably offers a bit more with the shielding and dodging.
I think the terrible players will have a lot less of a chance in this game.

well i played WoW too but it gets BORING AFTER 4 months...... this will not on da other hand and this hass more reserves than Wow EVER did in the beggining so yeahhhh top that!

combat sytem sucks, in WoW you click an enemy and press numbers, this is harder, just cause you can't do something that takes more skill doesnt mean you have to complain bout this game, AoC kicks Wow's ass

I dont think this game will take wows place in gaming but it will be very close. I dont thin it becuse of the age limit. Many ppl cant play it and will continue with the same old sad WOW.

Very True...It will be hard for young people to get into this game. They will be there though. Age limit screws AoC on this one. Cant wait for May 20th though.

i don't see how the loading screens are any different than waiting up to 30 sec to respawn in a typical WoW BG.

Dude, stop whining and showcase the game. You've succeeded only in showing us that we don't want you on our PvP team. You think a loading screen is annoying? Try listening to someone complain about a loading screen. This was crap.

Yes is easy to argue taht the combat system is much better done then the spell system. You do however also get Fatality's with spell. A Necromancer foreks have a Fatality where on a spell kill will summon a Big Ice Demon to fight alongside you for a while. Spellweaving will also be in at release. Don't now how much you've read about that, but its going to be wicked and awesome!

i had the impression that age of conan was supposed to have a better type of casting system. this looks EXACTLY like wow. Don't get me wrong, i hope this can take WoWs place, but im kind of losing my faith.

This guy playing the Demo is totally suck too, don't let his opinion of the class speak for the Demonologist as a whole. Maybe he didn't have it trained yet, but the Demo's root spell - Storm Chains - is devastating against melee and makes the mages night unstoppable vs most melee classes.

Casters are fine, you just are really bad playing them. You wasted far too much time casting aoe spells. AOE is used when there are a bunch of people fighting grouped up in an area, not for 1 on 1. Demonologist has powerful direct damage fire spells that you never tried to use. You can kill most people in 2 to 4 hits. Necromancer you just use life leech and flesh to worms, then while they tick away you spam ice strike or pestilence blast. Casters are very powerful if used correctly.

concerning the Pet for the Demonologist, it didn't seem to really add to the damage ability of the casters spells, slow on casting it's own spells as well. Have you looked into really what advantage this will give you if any? 2 vs 1 should have some advantage.

Pets for demos are pretty much just a buff. Currently they are being looked at to be revised.

I think casters have it well off
even if it does not feel revolutionary in combat they can dish out some good DPS
plus they haven't let spellweaving be used yet, that should turn the tables quite nicley

You forgot to buff yourself too (except one +damage one you had running in the vid).. Necros have like five they can have running simultaneously one of which is a shield that absorbs up to 270 damage before dropping which may only be a few casts off a Demo or 4/5 hits from a melee class but it all helps.

You kinda screwed that up lol. i had my friend, a necro with a 30-1 till 45-0 Kill/Death ratio.. he seemed to manage pretty well?
Then the other demonologist friend had ratings around 20-5.. Casters arent underpowered, trust me! Nice vid!

You said you had a snare ability on the Demonologist in the video. Even if its doesn't work half the time as a caster you should be using it, if not, sprinting for you life when in melee. The Nercomancer has shorter range than Demon and it sounded like you knew that ahead of time. You should of had you pets do the work. BTW life as a caster doesn't seem hard if it takes 2 hits for about 10% of you life.

if u didnt fix to horrible negatives so much, it wouldnt be so bad. if u get targeted by more than one, it doesnt mean u expect to live. not all melee are overpowered. especially if ur outnumbered.

"Shift makes you sprint" you stated it during the load, still you die several times when you could have escaped by, yes using sprint :P You make me laugh. "I cant play for shit and get owned every time, wha wha wha, therefore this game sucks!!" "OMG it takes skill?? oh noes im screwd!"

First of all you have none of your buffs on, and also you don't use your pet well enough. another thing try useing your chains.
In other words stick with a melee class..

Il try to say this as politely as i can, but you aren't really a good pvper. You did ok as a demo, but as a necro your hotbar was setup terribley, and you didnt even use several of your dots. Also you kind of complained when you died, casters definately arent bad clases.

Seriously dude, you said it yourself like 5-7times "I AM A CASTER" = I am not strong in melee.. So why the f**k do you start melee'ing the people that are so close? runing and casting is the natural way to do it. And one more thing, the choice of spells you use in PVP and PVE is based on time, long casting time spells = First attack or mobs NOT ppl. And therefor fast casting spells = main dmg and pvp spells regardles of what dmg.
