Rats are so much like humans in so many ways- I think that's why through out history we have had such a love/hate relationship with them. They are clever, can use their hands to manipulate objects, are intelligent, are social, can be "greedy" and hoard things (hence the term pack rat) can spread disease but are also very clean animals as a general rule.
Very cute- I have had many rats (forget how many) since I was a child- I would bring home many that weren't wanted. I love ratties and I love this song. Great vid and photos. Good job! People that don't have rats or are scared of them will never understand just how beautiful, cool, cute and intelligent rats are.

Once they've been bought from stores they are completly safe, clean, and friendly. I have not ever have a rat purposly bite me, and they clean themselves everyday. But the look does depend in my family and friends. i'd rather have a fluffy,cute hamster rather then a ugly rat who get obese easily and climb all over you. I dont care if rats are smarter, i prefer a cuter creature. This is my opinion on rats. You like rats? Fine. People are different in this world. In fact, Hamster can be trained, but it takes work. i will continue judge.

Have you had 3 snakes, 2 cats, 15 rats, hamsters, insects, 3 birds, a chinchilla and 6 fish? no? One cat my family saved from starvation when he was a kitten, the other was born without a leg, my rats were all sweetest little creatures ever, my hamster bit me and my dad all the time, i had different insects, and budgies. You try handling ALL of them.

Have you ever spent time with a trianchula spider, 5 snakes, 7 turtles (one big one), thousands of birds, owl, 9 fish, and lizard? no? i guess so. Cuz you weren't at camp. Aww these guys are adorable! I love dumbo rats, but top-eared ones seem more active. We raised our own rats, because one gave birth to 14 of them and we kept them all. So now we have 20 :P
