@dakota7095 No ;) The resolution is the same... If you are going to stay all the time at a closed environment, the glossy is better.. otherwise, go for the antiglare with no doubt in your heart =)

I got my 17 inch Macbook Pro today. I love it but for some reason I'm having difficulty adjusting to such a big screen. (My old Macbook was 13in) But other than that, it's incredible!

@applepejay Glossy IS awesome! No doubt about that... until you really need to use your precious macbook on open air or an environment with plenty of windows =) If you're going to use in a closed and most of time dark environment, glossy is the right choice.

@lestudios That's a good point... The screen glossy or antiglare fits more with personal taste.

I have some windows where I work and plenty of light everywhere , that's makes my concentration go away in day light. But are right indeed, glossy screens colors pops more and the black is awesome too ;)

But I cant chance mine, so antiglare just rocks for me.

There is one thing, I don't recommend Apple's magic mouse. I would recommend another brand just for the mouses. The Magic mouse is nice, but it is not ergonomic. I would personally recommend a Razer mouse such as the Mamba. These are just my opinions :)

Muito bacana esse video :-) Na verdade esteticamente eu prefiro o MacBook Pro antigo - nunca gostei da tecla preta desde foi introduzido no MacBook Air. Acho que um laptop do Apple deve ser de uma cor soh. Ja teve iBook G3, iBook G4, PowerBook G4 12", PowerBoook G4 17", MacBook Pro Aluminium, MacBook Pro Unibody.

how do you like the anti glare for video and pic editing? all of the apple experts reccomend the hi-res glossy.

@BigTimeVidz Glossy colors are more vivid, contrast in general is better but it's just impossible to work on an open environment and room with a windows on daylight...

So, if you need precise color level for video/pic editing, go for the glossy one and a dark room ;)

If your not living by it, just get the antiglare and be happy like me ;)
