Crazy Rock Climbing fall at the Cup & Saucer Hiking Trail

climbed pass the anchor. he wanted to try and get to the top, so yes there was lots of slack. the anchor was hanging about 8 feet from the top.

So I'm a bit confused.. did he climb above the toprope anchor, or was he just hanging out at the anchor and fell, with a ton of sack in the rope?

Lucky fela, good on ya for wearin a helmet, that being said, what a crappy belay job, to let someone on a toprope fall that far is inatentive belaying, and did that anchor fail?!? Cause that sure looks like the anchor point hanging out of the crack dude fell out of. Thanks to obody for posting this, a good lesson in how not to toprope a route.

Yeah you're right if it's something you do all the time.  This was a bunch of first timers who never tried climbing before. The guy fell head first and dropped about 10 feet or so. Never climbed before!

Really? He was top roping, those falls aren't scary, and you didn't even film him falling
