Cali is very dangerous in places like Watts, Inglewood, and South Central LA and their murder rate is incredibly high but thats partially due to how heavily populated the area is, i'm sorry to tell you but contemporary Compton is overrated as far as crime is concerned, New Orleans is much worse...gang tension in Cali has seen a decrease over the past decade and some change.
