If Maya Angelou actually did write this poem - which is of some debate - I think it's the most negative and poorly thing she's ever written. I just can't believe such a lovely woman would get so paranoid and negative. Sad. I mean, really, who believes everyone is out to get them? I guess this means I'm a hater. Whatever.
I just know Mada'am Angelou thought about the things I've encounter with "friends" and family, of course my haters want to see me fall, but still I rise. I maybe marl clay in my Potter's hand, He's preparing me to be more than I can expect, and greater than what you can understand
