annzie, that bow-shaped , one-string instrument the play is known here in South America as the "birimbao", and it is played in Brasil to accompany the Capoeira dance. The instrument is played by hitting the string with a stick and producing a second note by holding a stone against it. The sound it produces on this song by Faun is amazing!
