Definately better than the stupif Google Ads that I see all around free apps. Haven't seen any in pay apps so far and that's good. Actually some of the ads are quite fun to explore :P You know…when you're trying to procrastinate :D

Guys, I understand why you all are upset. I dislike ads as well; they're obtrusive! But we are going to be stuck with them no matter what, and we actually get more content because of them. Ads pay for the free versions of apps, so we can get some of our favorite apps, zone out the ads, and not have to pay a cent. For this reason, I could see iAd as being very beneficial; if we're going to have ads anyway, why not make them GOOD? I might actually want to check out an ad if it's engaging and fun!

Do not want. There isn't enough screen real-estate on a phone to be using part of it to force ads. In a web browser on a monitor they're out of the way, not intruding on your working/reading area... but on a screen that small, you want all the space you can get. Oh well, there will no doubt be a way to disable this on your jailbroken iPhone.

HTC EVO is a great phone, i would love one, but i would also want an iphone. both coost too much, i have a cheap phone and i fine with it, i dont need those phones. Yeah and apple should step up their game and get a better camera, and maybe a miniusb slot. I live in australia so i could put an iphone on whatever network i want :) but a mac still pwns a pc

ok, that 3d effect was supposed to be HTML5, but there is no similar example online, I have seen an atrocious slow version of that but it's not  working on any desktop browser, including safari. Jobs lie as usual?
